Hi, anyone tried an eco-bike battery? https://www.eco-ebike.com/collections/batteries If thread already, please feel free to point me there as searching "eco-bike battery" is kind of a nightmare. Was going to order a tongsheng from them also.

It looks offbrand, but don't mind if it's quality. Second option is a EM3EV battery, but a bit more expensive, but don't mind if it's worth it. Welcome other recommendations.

Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I don't have any direct answer to your questions about the site/battery, but some info that may help if no one else answers more directly.

FWIW, I do have an EM3EV battery, it's several years old now, and I got it secondhand, yet it still works well, and has required no repairs. It's made of the old A123 pouch cells, so it's different than what EM3EV makes now. Don't know directly how good those are, but suspect they are at least as good as this one.

For support, Grin Tech http://ebikes.ca is good; don't have any experience with their batteries but other stuff I've got is good (Cycle Analyst, Cycle Satiator).

Might be easier to find if you look for "eco-ebike" instead of "eco-bike". ;)

That said, a search on that term finds these:

which shows this post:

that is by the owner of that site. Knowing that info you could look around also for posts about or in reply to him, that might have info you want.

Buy batteries from dealers who are reputed to sell genuine cells. Chinese market is full of cheap copies with lower C-rate and/or capacity. Low prices are not always good deals.

Indeed! Thanks, I'll just go for EM3EV. It has 40% more capacity anyway, so not really more expensive.
