I am converting one folding bike 20 inches that I have around here for a relative.
I am planning to use a <150mm motor, I think the q128c 328rpm 36V would be a good choice. I can overvolt it to 48V, or perhaps better at 52V? I aim for 40kph loaded. My other option is a Mxus XF15R 440rpm at 48volts, which I think is perfect for around 40kph.
Which controller is typically good for this motor? I guess a typical KT 6 mosfets is a bit too small for this? Perhaps the 9 mosfets Lyen ?
The battery, I have no other option than installing it in the carrier. Are typical ebike carriers too big for folding bikes? Any special recommendation on this?
