control integrated hub motors?

I have an option to get a bigger motor my 1200 watt rear motor broke 1 month in. they will let me pay the difference for the 1500 watt they have. it comes with the sw900 LCD and 35 amp controller. they also have a wster proof integrated unit with a txt 750 color screen. for 100 more. so the integrated hubs use sine wave contollers. are all controllers some wave. any way I read the earlier arg7ments on sphere from 2011 about it. and see truths in both arguments. I would think they use different way to get rid of heat. I think I like the contoller and the idea of less wires to get messed up and clean looks. it seems however that if something goes wrong the separate system might be easier for me to repair or diagnose does anyone own an integrated hub 1500 watt that could share their exp
