Trying to boost speed abit have located the controller with all the wires, but dont know what colour wires controls what?

Well they just use whatever color wire is hanging around the assembly line.
If you take some pictures of your controller that are detailed so we can decipher the wiring for you.

I can't imagine there's a wire to remove and make it faster. Okay, that's brushless, right? Under 10 mosfets? Not a scooter where they care to tell you anything about it, right? There is a 25a available for an 800w version of your scooter, probably not the answer. Maybe you go for a 72v, 1000w. You can try the 72v batteries before you replace the controller, it might work..
