What is this motor?

Oh yeah, that's one o' them thar HUB motors. If you take it off the bike you can look for a string of numbers which often yield information online, sometimes even going right to a sales page or a manual for the very motor, hub or controller. Get a picture of it and maybe I'll try it.

Not one I recognize. But after all, there are about 10,000 hub motor factories in china.

Is there a prize?

Whats the term for how that hub is laced?
Isn't it just a 1 cross lacing?

Yes, but the holes in the hub aren't evenly spaced. It would be paired-spoke, except that the spokes aren't paired at the rim. They might as well be laced cross-zero, which in this case isn't radial lacing.
