Suppliers for QS 273 motor?

Post by Sunder » Feb 21 2019 9:13pm

Anyone know where I can get this from?

There's a few on Aliexpress, but not in the winding/magnet size I want.

I've emailed CNQSMotor.com, who are apparently the retail subsidiary of QS Motor, the manufacturer, and each time, I have to send multiple emails, after waiting a few days for a response. (No overlap with Chinese New Year - I checked).

I've never had such a desirable item, so difficult to purchase.

I feel a bit like this - except they haven't said enough to shut up!

eBike: Q100H on 16S with Phaserunner FOC Controller
eMotorscooter: Vectrix VX-1 on 36S
eCar: Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV... Waiting for warranty to expire
eHouse: Still on grid, but with LTO batteries and 3kw LF inverter...

After 5 builds, the best advice I can give, is start with high quality products. I prefer http://www.ebikes.ca

Have you tried messaging them via Aliexpress or Alibaba?

No. It's really hard to tell who is who on those platforms. The all have some variation of QS Motor in their name.

E.g:

Going to give it one more business day, then ask the ones on Aliexpress whether they have the variant I want.

This came up in the last 2-3 months, I remember the guy said he finally got his QS whatever but didn't say who from. I'm on my phone, search isn't working, if I remember when I get home maybe I'll have better luck.

QS has a thread they were posting in, again no luck finding.

Thanks mate.

Upon hearing that this is a common issue, I decided not to give them another business day, and just go ahead and get other quotes (well, asking if they have the variant I want) from Aliexpress.

See how we go.

Okay, the QS thread is in New items for sale and I asked how to get them, QS hasn't logged in since November.

The 1980 Honda Express conversion is in eScooter Motorcycle general discussion, not a busy thread and he hasn't been posting.

Interested those myself, similarly confused on actually getting any. They sure sound nice, dang, it's almost like vaporware.

Once I know what I want, I don't screw around...

It's strange that QS Motors would create a retail subsidiary that doesn't respond to retail level requests, but the wholesale manufacturer, will deal direct with the public - bloody efficiently too. Considering I emailed her at lunch time, the whole sale took 2 hours.

Their prices were 10% cheaper too.

Okay, the CNQS site directed me here, they do look promising.https://m.alibaba.com/product/1586350913/detail.html

I think there's obviously a problem of some sort, it's funny when someone gets their motor we don't hear how.

Did you try these?

cherry@tquanshun.com
vito@tzquanshun.com

You can also message them through here

Pretty that's the official Alibaba store.
