Link to ebike basic knowledge?

Wow, what a gold mine of information! Thank you all, firstly.
I'm an ebike noob and starting the learning curve.
Who can steer me in the direction of basic knowledge? I didn't see any stickies but maybe I'm blind.
Looking for explanations and glossary such as: gear hub vs freewheel, amps vs watt/hrs, volts vs amps, xwatt motor windings for torque vs speed, "slow vs fast" motors, etc. I don't want to start asking questions in people's threads when the basics should be covered somewhere.

There's lots of them, in various subforums, including the multiple Sticky Index threads by spinningmagnets, at the top of each subforum.

At the top of every subforum, tHere is also a thread for Welcome Message to New Members with links.
 
First read up on the scientific method, skepticism, rational thinking.

Then learn the fundamentals of math, physics, and the marriage of those two with insanity, engineering.

At that point you will really be ready to start getting into ebike basics.
