IPM seems like a compromise between the synchronous motor and the asynchronous motor. I haven't known about it until a few minutes ago. What can you say about it? who makes them?

Motoczysz use a water cooled IPM in their electric racing motorcycle. Does anyone know which motor it is?

I wrote it wrong. It's supposed to be "Brushless Interior Permanent Magnet Motors", not "internal permanent magnet".

Maybe the MotoCzysz motor isn't an Interior Permanent Magnet Motor then, because they write "LQ (liquid cooled) IPM (internal permanent magnet) 75kW/100hp electric motor is one of the highest torque/density motors in the industry (250+ft/lbs/340+Nm continuous 77lbs/35kg)". But that may also be a typo.

Looks like a normal asynchronous motor, but with permanent magnets inside the "squirrel-cage" rotor, which makes it synchronous.
