bafang mid drive kit bs01 250W. Error code 30. help

i just bought a brand new bafang mid drive kit 250W from em3ev.

i cant get the display to work properly. Got an error code of 30. anyone know what to do and how to troubleshoot.

i suspect some communication issues betweeen the controller and LCD.

is there a video how to open up the motor n change the faulty controller or LCD.

any help will be appreciated.

spent over USD780 over it, including shipping n battery. Quite upset that it is not working.

help will be appreciated.

3 columns that don't paste well:

3 0x04 Brake lever didn’t return to the location

5 0x06 UVP

7 0x08 Motor hall sensor has problem
8 0x09 Motor phase wire has problem
9 0x10 Temperature inside of controller has reached the protection temperature
10 0x11 Temperature sensor inside of controller has problem
11 0x12 Current sensor has problem
12 0x13 Temperature inside of battery is un-normal
13 0X14 Temperature sensor inside of battery has problem

so should i change the motor controller or the LCD or both?

LCD is harder to fail. so it shld be controller fault.

damn the bafang controller is lousy and spoilt easily. it doesnt hv adequate circuit protection to prevent failure from an accident short.

Check all your connections, make sure there isn't a bent pin.

i dun he hugo connector. i accidentally bent one of the pin when i unplugged it. that's it. gone case.

the pins are too fine n it bends easily.
