image.jpgHi,
I have a ( Lyen ) Infineon 12 fet set to slip mode regen.

It works well in that it does what it's supposed to by automatically regening when the throttle is disengaged.

But it acts weird ..

It's as if it's pulsing on and off randomly; it's not a steady feeling.

As the throttle is closed it works initially but shortly after it will pulse off for a split second and then revet back on. It seems to do this several times in rapid succession. It's still effective at Sloan the bike down but the pulsing is really inconvenient.

I have CA V3 so im hoping I can change some settings.

Or is this just how infineon controllers act??

Any thoughts?

What voltage and current does it put out during regen?

Is your batteyr already full when this happens, and the BMS cutting off charge? (regen is teh same as charging, as far as batteries are concerned)

I'll do a test with regards to the battery So i'll do a test with regards to the battery SOC.

It really seems to do it across the board . I even tried changing the Regen voltage from 60 to 75
And it made no difference.

Maybe I need to set the region voltage lower.

My battery is 58.8 hot off the charger

Disconnect the CA and see if it works properly then. The only issue I've ever had with slip mode is cruising at middle speeds where it oscillates some.
