VERY interested in this...looks like you can now source them from alibaba directly for $560. Can't wait to get more info on them in the real world!

80% efficiency seems kinda low ?

The 160 Nms of torque sounds great, if its a accurate rating. I tried a Bafang 750 watt geared hub motor that was rated for 80 NMS of torque and it had less torque then
my generic YESCOMUSA direct drive rear hub motor that was only rated for about 50 NMS of torque. This makes me leary of Bafangs reported performance numbers.
 
If as well supported as the bbsxx, run, unless youre willing to learn how to fix. Two new drives two differnt fits. Dumb.

Bear in mind one is rating torque at the wheel and the other torque at the crank (which will then be reduced through the chainset gear ratio(s).
