Last week I completed one of my most recent projects, and I took the time to take some footage that I wanted to share with you.

Key specs of this controller:
16-90V, 23A
Hall and encoder inputs
Powered by STM32F405, running ST FOC library

Connected to it: a PMSM servo motor, originally speced at 500W, doing 2kW at 10,000rpm.

Some pictures from the build:

Nice work, what tool chain are you using compile your code?

Thanks :) I'm using IAR, unfortunately a quite outdated version. But afaik IAR is using GCC anyway, so it should be quite easy to port it. I just didn't take the time yet, plus that I like the IAR debugger in combination with a Segger JTAG dongle.

watt the FOC?

After having this one literally explode like a fireworks the second time in a row without finding the probem, my 14yr old son came up with this one: Resistance is futile - We are the Watt.
