This is one of my first electric vehicle builds and I'm trying to get this 72v Sabvoton working with a Motenergy ME0201014201 PMAC Motor http://www.electricmotorsport.com/pmac-ss-me0201014201-pmac-motor-24-72v-6-hp-cont-19-hp-pk.html I hooked up the 3 phase wires correctly compared with another video Ive seen. Im also pretty sure the hall sensor is setup correctly. But I can't get the motor to turn with throttle. Ive tried changing the phase wires around as well as the hall sensor wires, since the connector pieces weren't compatible. Is there anything else that needs to be hooked up for the controller to work? Im unable to really find out anything about these sabvoton controllers aside from here. https://imgur.com/a/LpfDL

Did you manage to solve your problem?

I have the same 4201 motor... but I am using a Sabvoton/MQCON SVMC72150.

I have connected the phase wiring U->U, W->W and V->V.

The hall wiring is currently connected (Motor->Controller):

Blue->Blue
Green->Green
White->Yellow

When I turn on my power switch (which connects the orange ignition wire to the B+ terminal)... I get 13 green light flashes (Motor Hall Error).

Before taking everything apart and trying the various hall wire combinations... it would be really helpfull if somebody knows the correct combination! :)

Solved my problem! :D

Found that I had accidentally broken the Green->Green hall wire connection at some point. I then swopped the phase wiring (Motor->Controller) to U->U, W->V and V->W.

Hope this somehow helps you solve your problem! :)

Now onto my next challenge: getting the controller to successfully connect with the PC...
