Are you planning on offering the BAC4000 with a profile program for this motor?

I have contacted QS about the spline shaft option, and looks like they are not offering it anymore.
So I am planning to build a custom shaft myself. Does anyone have the full shaft drawing?
I do not have the motor yet and have asked QS about the shaft drawing, but no reply yet.

Current setup on my trials bike for max torque @ low RPM:
Original low kV (35) GNG motor with a custom shaft geared with custom 8T/62T #420
Powered by 10KW Kelly KEB limited with 150A battery current and unlimited (450A) winding current.
As the spring warmth came, I can overheat it in 5 minutes rear wheel hop jumping.
I can probably go up to 8T/68T but I doubt the motor will be much cooler and the top speed will be too low
even with 21S battery.
Trials/Freeride 39KG middrive:
35kV GNG Big block custom 8T/62T #420
Kelly KEB 10kW 450A Peak. Stainless LMX frame
26" FW, 24" RW Kris Holm rims 3" Duro tires / 17" moto trials RW & 3.5" trials tire

Thanks, missed that thread.
I've asked for the spline shaft from three different places: alibaba, aliexpress, and cnqsmotor contact form.

They should be answering on cnqsmotor form. Can you try to send a mail directly to carrie@tzquanshun.com and judy@tzquanshun.com, maybe that works better.

Good luck

Thanks again.
BTW how is the QS shaft quality? My original GNG shaft was made from some cheap crappy steel and the shaft end destroyed pretty fast by high torque.

The tapered shaft belt drive is good quality, maybe bionicon can vouch for the sprocket axle, i think he has one.

Finally bought 2000W motor with the spline shaft directly from cnqsmotor.
They do not have them in stock, though. Production time is 14~16 working days.

I wonder if there are some misinformation in the specs:
3000W No-load rpm: 3800rpm without flux weakening, 6000RPM with flux weakening.
2000W No-load rpm: 2800rpm without flux weakening, 4400RPM with flux weakening.
That is ~36% kV difference. But from the performance tests it is only ~15%.

Noload rpm is only useful if you know test voltage so all the figures could be correct. QS should just give kV (at neutral timing) but i guess they want to give data also to people that don't know what kV is.

Sure, but both of them have the same 72V in the specs and the performance test/graphs.

Performance test data from QS:
kV is 73 for 3000W motor in test, 5213 rpm@72V
kV is 63 for 2000W motor, 4550 rpm @ 72V

Both are higher than the normal noload from QS.
 You are correct. Did they test with flux weakening or are the other figures incorrect..

If the 2000w motor gets asi4000 controllers tuned for it will that work with the 3000w motor. Has it been confirmed that the csc city slicker uses the 3000w motor ?

This was more of a question for the guys at electric race technologies and whoever in this thread said the csc city slicker electric motorcycle uses a qs motor.

The QS 3000W needs a filtering mod or different encoder to work with ASI in sensored mode. The stock hall signals do not work right with this or other sinewave controllers.

It does work well sensorless but ASI's sensorless feature sucks from a standstill.

that needs a clarification. I guess you have experience from one motor and several controllers but not all?
My QS3000W works with both Votol EM150 and apt96600 sinewave controllers.
Could be issues with the motor, ASI controller hard to optimise etc. Did you check the signals on a scope?

I never had problems with the halls and i am running a sabvoton 72200 at 250battamps and 500fazeamps.
Flux weakening is set at 150amps without problems.
