So my brother wants to replace the basic screen on his S12SN for one of the LCD3 ones with the separate control panel like lots of us use.
Problem is while places like bmsbattery sell them for a about £22. They then want another £17 or so just for shipping. Having looked around Aliexpress it seems lots of shops there sell identical looking screens also called LCD3 but say they only worth with their own controllers. And some say the KT controller.
Are the screens actually different? And will one of these KT ones work with an S type controller from bmsbattery?
I'm guessing one is a clone of the other or something. Is the KT controller a clone of the S controller? Or perhaps the other way around?
Basically we just want to find a screen compatible with the S12SN that's not a complete rip off, and that has more options than the older basic screen, which doesn't let you set things like e-brake strength and current limit. Doesn't have the same P and C pages when going into settings.
