I have a kelly KLS 7240D controller(http://kellycontroller.com/kls7240d24v-72v350asinusoidal-brushless-motor-controller-p-1377.html). I am confused with B+ and B- terminals wiring as there are two sets.
1.) Terminals that should be connected to the battery, shown in this picture.

2.) Wires shown here in this picture,

So my question is what terminals are shown in this diagram(Highlighted). Is it 1.) or 2.) ??

Also if it is 2.) What should be the rating of fuse and main contactor??
I have searched this in the internet but couldn't find any solution. This might be very obvious thing which everyone leaves out.

The Fuse is on the B+ terminal on the Controller already attached for you.

You connect your battery to B- and to B+ on the Controller if you want to make use of the fuse and current measuring shunt. If you connect it directly t + and - then you just bypassed the fuse and shunt.

Also you don't necessarily need a contactor unless you already bought one, and absolutely want to use it.

And another thing, I'm not sure about the red plug, I think you can just ignore it.
I believe you can measure battery voltage from there with a Voltmeter.

I would connect just the necessary things first, like in this drawing.
