Brushless dc motor with 5 power wires

Hi guys
I have a used brushless dc motor which has 5 power wires and 9 controll wires. I want ti use it on a mini bike but the power wires confused me as supposed the bldc motor shoud has 3 power wires not 5!. The photo of the motor and wires are attached. I also test the resistance of power wires with multimeter and 4 wires (except the white wire) have about 19 ohms with each other, while the white one has about 9 ohms with other 4 wires. Any suggestion how I can drive this motor?

Maybe it's a stepper motor?

If your resistance measurements are right they indicate it's very low power at 24V.

No idea! But I think measurments were correct.

My guess is it's wound like this with the white wire as the common that connects all coils to ground.

Possibly at least.

Try applying a small current down two of the wires and see how it cogs.

Is the figure you posted related to a conventional bldc motor or a stepper motor. Seems its wiring is similar to my motor!
Btw, when I apply low voltage (3.7v lipo high power battery) to each winding pairs, the motor start to about 10 degree of rotation or something like that and then stop.
 
Hmm, that was just for a bldc. There a couple of different configurations that these can take. Most computer fans are 2 phase, or 4 pole bldcs. That's what your motor could possibly be. 10 degrees doesn't sound particularly high for a motor with a low pole count though.

I'm wondering if the wires could be for a bldc where you have the option to wire for WYE or delta but I'd have thought that would require another lead.

Some three phase bldcs come with with 4 wires in a WYE configured stator. The extra wire being the mid point of all windings.

I'd start by measuring the resistances between the various wire combinations. Or try and open it up.

pumped with a Model DHCR80HP dual-piston pump (Japan Servo, Tokyo, Japan) at a flow-rate of 0.6 ml/min.
