motor mount thickness.

Hey guys what thickness of motor mount do you use for your electric motors? I was aiming at 3/8 inch aluminum for a 14/18kw cyclone motor but not sure if it will flex or not.

It depends on the construction, for instance mine is 6mm 304 stainless, with 8mm struts between the back and front plate for my 50kw motor, its less about the thickness more about its structural design.
