asi bac 800 controller documentation and wiring

Hi,

I've been searching high and low for documentation on the ASI bac 800 motor controller.

I've found this reference to the pinout of the 24 pin connector

However, pin 1 is not referenced on the drawing. Can someone pls tell me which is pin 1 of the 24 pin connector on page 3 of the datasheet?

I purchased the ASI 800 controller from Luna with a Mini Cyclon motor. My intention is to use it with the Grin CA v3. The harness that is supplied by Luna is useless and simply doesn't map to anything that makes any sense. They don't know either.

From what I can tell, I just need to map the controller throttle input (Pin 14) to the CA v3 and either tie pin 21 to 22 (Key in/Key out) or pin 21 to V+ from the battery. That is if I knew where to count the pin number from.

Does that concur with anyone's experience?

I've sorted the power wiring.

On the BAC 500, pin 1 is bottom right. I think it's the same.
If you have the mating connector, pin one usually has a tiny little arrow or triangle molded into it that points at pin 1.

This is why you dont buy an ASI from luna
