STSPIN devboard

Did not find any references on the forums.
Anyone tried ST's STSPIN3201 devboard? It has a cheap hardware, fully capable of sensorless startup and torque control for traction applications.
I am now playing with their motor control workbench, and got the motor spinning, but just barely. It stops when speed drops below 500 rpm, and startup is very poor. Looks like this tool is designed for fans and maybe pumps ....

So, anyone had any luck with this?

same result here. too simple algorithm used with the motor control bench. fine for pumps, fans. not so good for traction applications.

The hardware, including internal peripherals of the MCU, is very capable. However software implementation and level of support we get is just shit. Very disappointed...

TI's Instaspin on their C2000 chips is really nice, but the code bas a fairly steep learning curve when you start using your own hardware. FOC Sensorless startup has worked on every motor I tried with a little tuning.
