KMX Trike Rear Suspension

KMX Rear Suspension

Fit on any recent adult KMX steel frames.
Travel : 60mm (2.35in)
Bike total length will increase by 70mm (2.75in)
Material: Alu 6061-T6 Black Anodized
Weight: 2.24 kg ( reg shock )
2.10 kg ( air shock )

!!! Modification is required on your KMX. !!!

This kit instalation requires you to cut and drill your KMX steel frame.
You need to be confident enough in your hand skills and have a few basic tools.

Warning!! This custom item will only fit on a KMX Trike but it is not a genuine KMX product!!!

This kit include a rear suspension unit + hardware + step by step instruction.

Regular shock:

Good with light weight rear wheel ( no hub motor )

Air shock:

Recommended if you have a heavy rear wheel ( hub motor )
The air shock will help to reduce the rebound.

Rear seat posts are no longer attached near the rear wheel.
They are now bolted to the new suspension.

Nice work. Have you considered just sawing off completely the square tube below the seat all the way up to its perpendicular counterpart and develop a matching bolt-on solution ? I think you could gain around 50mm total length this way an make for an even cleaner look. Not sure it would work on you kart because of the battery case.

Agreed, the tube could be cut at a different place, but I had no other option for my trike because of the battery box.
