This is probably the cheapest I have ever seen any lithium ion battery for sale anywhere. That's basically scrap prices!

Also here are some good deals. The VTC6 sony cells for $2.59 each are tempting.

Does look like that swagtron. The site says they were imbalanced from the start and that many of them came back just fine after being balance charged. The recommend them as a source to salvage the good cells from. Sounds like days of cycle testing to find the good ones but if someone had the time $50/kwh is an unbelievable price! I almost picked up a few packs then remembered I have kids and no free time :wink:
