Hi there...

I just purchased a bike with the Lyen "24 fet 4115 mosfet" controller, looks lke this one from the description. I see a USB connector, but I dont know what software to use--can I get a link to download this monitoring and configuring software--looks very interesting! I'm curious what I can see and adjust and save with this interface. Where's the software and a link on how tomuse it - OS compatibility, etc... THX!!! -Jonathan

Ummm
Well don't remembef a USB connector on mine.
There is a black multipin connector, that mates to the USB prorgamming lead.

If it is like I describe, then you need to search the forum for XPD software.

I do not have pictures of a 24 FET, but all the pad labels are the same across most of these boards. I can't easily find and attach the picture to this post, from my phone, SO... Send me a PM...with your e-mail and I will e-mail you pictures of the back of an 18 FET with some of the pads labelled up........but....

Umm, your question raises lots more questions thatI'd like answers to, like:
You have a board with no wires... where from ?, why no wires? Why can't the supplier of the board help you?
You have just a board ? What ? no case or heatsink.. so do you have just the board or a complete controller...if a complete controller...why is it not already wired up ... If not, why not, who supplied an unwired board

Please post photo in large resolution, of the back and front of the board , and if I get time I'll try and label it

PM Sent to you

Whether this controller is capable to work with the sensorless motor?

Here is a brief descriptions for the items mentioned above:

Optional controller add-on:
Cycle Analyst connector, external USB-TTL connector for USB-TTL programming adapter, regenerative braking enable/disable jumper
The Cycle Analyst connector is for interfacing with the Cycle Analyst e-bike unit. For information on the Cycle Analyst, click below:
http://www.ebikes.ca/drainbrain.shtml
The external USB-TTL connector is a plug that is needed to interface with the optional USB-TTL programming adapter.
The regenerative braking enable-disable jumper (for direct drive hub motor only) allows you to enable or disable the regenerative braking without the need to open the controller case.

The USB-TTL programming adapter is to be used to make controller parameter & setting changes via your PC.

The cruise control module is a handlebar mounted switch that allows you to hold the speed without keeping your hand on the throttle.

The PAS (Pedal Assist System) module is a crank mount sensor that spins the motor when it senses the pedaling movement.

The three-way speed switch is a handlebar mounted unit that allows you to limit the maximum speed with three different settings. For example, speed mode 1 = long range, speed mode 2 = legal limit, speed mode 3 = maximum or turbo.

The Half Twist Throttle is to control the speed of the motor.

The Full Twist Throttle is to control the speed of the motor.

The electric brake lever(s) consists of momentary on/off switch. When the brake lever is applied, it signals to the controller to stop the motor from turning.

Electric Brake Magnetic Sensing Switches are to be mounted underneath the brake levers, which allow you to use your existing brake levers especially useful if you have hydraulic disc brakes.
