Parts are additional to labor. A typical moped rear would be $311 plus hub plus shipping, fronts are $246 plus hub plus shipping

One of my workers, Jonathan, will be leaving us in about 6 weeks and he runs the spoke machine. I no longer have time for it and the machine is tedious to operate, so we are considering just keeping certain lengths in stock for common hub motors. If you can please list the motors you want to lace into, we will know better how to start our inventory.

Hi John, I am lacing the 17" rear wheels into QS 205 50H motors. One will be in black spokes if possible and the other in regular silver color.

I can pay for the spokes and nipples now if necessary and wait for the rims so it all ships together.

Darn. I saw you updated stock earlier at $100/each and I figured I would order today but when I came back to place the order, you increased the price $20! Doh! You know we've been waiting for them so of course I paid it. Supply and demand wins I guess. At least it does for us eBike addicts waiting for our next rear moped wheel fix!

You'll have to look up spoke length or the MXUS. Ask Kinaye Motorsports. They do a bunch of MXUS in Holmes Hobbies MMP wheels and should have the spoke lengths.

What is spoke length (1 cross pattern) for QS 16'' 1.6'' rim? Possibly know ERD of their 16'' rim?
Used with qs2053kwv3 hub.

That would heavily depend on the rim you use. It will be near the length of a bmx rim.



We also just restocked the Moped style nipples. 14, 13, and 12ga compatible nipples that mate into many common moto rims. I'm currently not rolling spokes because we finally wore the machine out enough that it's not reliable for volume work, although I can make small batches.


Been lacing wheels for myself and friends lately and not for work. It's been nice. Just picked up a new MTB and it's begging for a nice trick set of wheels and hubs.
