Sweet. Hey, any idea how much you think you'll be wanting to sell them for after development?
New to endless-sphere? Notice a lot of signatures recommending Ebikes.ca? That's because it's the best place for a quality and manageable, (but still 'real'), first build. Justin is a solid supporter of electric bike development, and a good source of equipment.

the spacing and sensors (tested and re-tested) are spot on and work very well , I just need to make the mould to cast them I will post pictures up soon. The price will be around £25 ukp + P+P but this is not finalised yet. I am making these for myself but as Im making them It will not be to much effort to make more if people wanted them.

Thanks Gwhy!, (i like the exclamation point),

I'm not sure I would be in for the first batch. But this really does seem very great. Hopefully enough people will be interested that you'll crank out enough to have some stock later :p

:D

If these work out ok and all goes well, these should be a quick turn around to make more.
Here are some pics of a blank sensor for the 63mm can outrunners.

I am also going to make some mounting hardware for it, but haven't decided how to do it yet.

I have been playing around with a smaller version complete with mount, results are good, so these smaller versions will be available to buy should anyone want them, I have tested them on 63mm dia motors and on the larger 80mm dia motors. I need to make myself around 12 of these so I will be ordering the hall sensors soon. If anyone else would like one then please express your interest before I order my halls ( in about a weeks time ) PM me. The price for the complete sensor (with mount) will be £25.00 price for the mount only will be £7.00, price for the sensor only is £20.00 , the mount is suitable for both sizes of sensors ( motors ).

I have now ordered the hall sensors for the modules. Here is a pic of the new smaller modules the final hall modules will be black with 6" wires, no plug on the end ( as there are so many types ).

After much testing and trying to find a easy way of setting them up I have decided to produce the larger ones for the masses ( the larger ones were much, much easier to setup and have more predicable results ) . I will keep the smaller ones for my own projects as they do work but requires the use of a scope and a lot of patience to setup correctly. This means that the time scale have changed to get these new ones out :( but hopefully not by much. maybe a week or 2 as I already have the moulds and the halls its just a matter of finding the time to put them together. Sorry guys

Ok, I have now made a couple of hall sensors for sale ( I will make them as (and if) people still want them ). The hall sensors for the 80mm motors are the larger type ( around 60d ) these work well and are pretty easy to setup (unlike the smaller spacing ) I just need to write up some instructions, as for the 64mm motors the smaller spacing works just as well as the 60d so the hall sensor will remain the smaller type ( again I just need to write up some setup instructions ). So these are now officially complete for the 80mm motors and the 64mm motors.

Have you managed to get a 59mm motor to test the smaller hall sensors on?

Did you ever make a mold for the 59mm diameter sk3's? I need about 16 to 20 of them for my mountainboards. Let me know I you have something that will work and will be easy enough to set the timing. With my 4wd boards it will be critical to have the timing of the 4 motors, spot on.

No I havent but I will, is the dia exactly 59mm? and can you give me the distance from the front of the motor ( mounting plate ) to the edge of the magnets as I dont think the mount I use will be tall enough as the motor has a skirt bearing I think. I have to make a new batch up anyway so now is a good time to do one for the 59mm motor.

I Have some old stock of my original hall sensors for the 80mm outrunners , the spacing on these sensors are 17.14d.

I am letting the last 8 go cheap+ P+P . price is £12 each or 2 for £20.. Please PM if interested or all 8 for £60 ( or make me a offer ).
