I am interested in your straight rear torque arm. I have 2012 montegue paratrooper, very similar to the one in your pics. so I am fairly sure it will fit. please PM me with price and details.

also could you drill and tap the clamp hole for me and add that to the price?

Hey are you still selling these, and is it $25 shipped to Western Canada?
And the title is plural (meaning more then one), hence the term "ARMS", so it comes with 2 Torque Arms made for IS mount?

for $25 you get one. NEW BOLT ON TORQUE ARMS means he has more than one to sell.
If you think that is expensive how about the Grin Tech Rev4 Rear Torque Arm for $40 or the Grin Tech Rev3 Front Torque Arm for $30. In my experience the bolt on is much better, here is the video and compares the Grin vs the bolt on. You go migueralliart!

I would still like arms or drawings. It's been going on too long to expect them though.
bmsbattery sent me broken and incorrect stuff, and won't even talk to me about it.

I'll be sending pms to all the people that inquired since in the next week or so I'll be producing another batch of these arms.

If you haven't done so please pm me with your needs.

At this time I'm only going to make the rear ones not the small front one.

BUMP!

I have about 15 curved torque arms and 7 flat ones in stock in case anybody needs them.

If you're unsure about the fitment I can pm you a pdf for you to print cut and measure the fit.

I finally received my ordered torque arm. But I do not expect it is full of rust as shown on the below photos. I need to clean it up before installation. I also worry that it will rust again after installation. I would prefer to pay more for a stainless steel one. If you want to buy this torque arm, think about this before you place your order.

Huh there was a light film of Rust when I packed it but I didn't think it was that bad. Just sand it and oil it or paint it and you shouldn't have an issue. Stainless Steel is better with rust but it is much softer hence your axle can actually damage it if it is not too thick.

PM me your paypal address and I'll give you a partial refund ASAP.

Can you use this torque arm and a rear disc brake caliper at the same time?

On my bike it looks like there wouldn't be enough room for a nut on the inside of the bike, the disc is too close to the caliper mounting hole. The caliper threads would have to act as the "nut" holding the bolt in place, which holds both the torque arm and caliper in place. Would this work?

These arms are supposed to cover your dropout on the outer side, when I send them I put two 25mm bolts in there that should accommodate for the extra thickness of the arm. There are two styles: the flat one is essentially the strongest and only works if your dropout is completely flat as I found several frames to be. The non flat works when the bike has a section of the dropout that is in the way and hence not completely flat.

Just to point out the arms that are in stock don't have any rust issues. It might've been a single batch that was waterjet cut with an older steel sheet. If any of the guys that ordered have any issues pm or email me.

Also another thing I want to mention, to this day I've been pushing my caliper side only torque arm to hard regen and 50amps current on a DD 9c without a SINGLE issue.

I get that, but my question was can you use this torque arm and rear disc brakes simultaneously. So the torque arm on the outside of the frame and the caliper mounted on the inside. You would need a bolt long enough to accommodate everything. Would it work?

Im a bit confused with your question.

If your frame HAS disc brakes then i see no issue since that's how we all install it. If it Doesn't then it is not really designed to hold a caliper in the air.

As long as your bike has disc now. Read the post above yours and you will see that see said he suppies 2 25mm bolts for the extra length needed. You don't need nuts as the caliper mount shold be threaded.

I got mine, thanks migueralliart. I also got little rusted tq, but no worries I already clean it :)

I have to little defend migueralliart's torque arms, these are for heavy duty use, not for show.

Hot Rolled A36 ..

Again a 25 cent sand paper and black bbq paint is more than enough to protect it.

I thought about making it from a different metal but I would've needed more than 100 pcs to make it profitable and worth the waterjet cutter's time.

To the durability point, I am still running the original arm I created in the very first batch some years ago. Tons of regen and abuse and no damage whatsoever. The fact that it has a closed axle opening instead of an open end makes them much less prone to failing.

Once properly installed I feel very safe when using them.

Here are pictures I promised. I have a few more pictures to take of the other bikes as well. I'll post more as I get more builds done. These arms are great, minimal to no work needed for most applications. The pictured bikes are, Intense 5.5 evp, Santa Cruz Blur Lt, Cannondale Rush Sl. The intense has a weird angle for the drop outs/caliper mount and needed a little bending of the arm to fit perfectly.

And I got mine.
It looks very sturdy.
I tried it yesterday, lifting wheel to 80A and regeneration peaks of more than 20A without problem.

As you can see there is a gap, it is because my frame does not allow them to be together.
But no problem (for now) hahahaha.
Thanks.
