I don't like quoting with images, but this time I will make an exception. That is by far the wildest Vector yet. A sure attention grabber and a conversation piece. Old farts like me choose subtle over wild but if I was in my twenties I can really see a custom paint job would knock the socks off anyone.

I am sure your friend will enjoy his ride :)

I guess you could make one yourself. Those fingerprint scanners are not pricey and you could hook it to ardunio or raspberry pie.
Omg this raspberry is so amazing! I just got an idea  So doesn´t matter what electric bicycle or motorbike you buy. It is more or less a bit expensive. So against that, I´m going to build my own Raspberry Pi GPS tracker. Im going to hide it into the frame and if someone is going to steal my Vector bike, I just gonna smile, walk to my computer and because the Raspberry is going to be connectet to the battery I will be able to see exactly where the thief is and Im going to get my bike back hehehehe :D

Im going to open a new theared when I get everything together + my Tornado Vector bike

I thought so as well Artur, the owner of this Venom Vector, Mike, has almost 20 man hours just into the paint job on the panels. That's dedication.

Or you can just buy a cheap android phone, turn on the GPS, plug it into to battery and you can track your bike with Google Device manager :)

Yes you are right but it isn´t the only thing, I wanted to do with the Raspberry Pi. For example this Fingerprint-Switch thing and so one.. There are so many possibilities

@Artur

On your webside it says that the TYPHOON has a "Parking brake". If I order my Tornado in a couple of weeks, is it possible to mount this Parking brake on the Tornado too? I would like to buy the Tornado with this Parking brake too. Would be great!

2.) How does it work? Do you have to press a button or does it automaticly brake, when you take the key out of the bike?

Had the pleasure of meeting Artur at Eurobike and the campsite.

Great guy and the Vector testride was definitely a highlight of my trip! These bikes are the real deal, and in my time i've ridden a couple of high performance bikes from down-under!

Also my first experience with the Adaptto controllers and loved the smooth power and throttle response.

To all of you who was saying "raptor" or any other frame clearance is enough:

Don't be silly, use aggressive tyres if you go offroad, be carreful with mug guards if you use any, and never say "Vector has too big clearance" :twisted

I hope there will be no more people asking me why we use relatively cheap material for side covers :)

Man those bikes looks heavy, stuffed with lipo or whatever. On top of that running slicks - good luck with it in the woods :)
The positive thing is that they had a girl filming this. DO we see girls around here? Hello? Anyone?

Allex, that's a good point. The only girl I have seen on her is Bexxer from the Stealth thread. Hey ladies, get on here and speak up!

Do you guys have any experience with back-wheel suspensions? I would like to drive really fast on street, but also on forest-trails. Rider: 60kg. Max Speed. 45 km/h. (Maybe the Burner RCP-2?)

-Thanks for help.

Das, I think if it pertains to the Vector set up, this is the right thread. We are all about sharing info. That said, I don't know what travel to shock stroke ratio is on the Vector. But for a 60KG rider, I am guessing you wont want a shock with more than 450# spring rate. Artur, can you chime in on this?

For offroad riding, you definitelly need a middrive motor, no matter what shock you use.
