This seems like a great alternative to the 2 gears schlumpf drive for E-bikes, where 3 gears are plenty for pedal assist and would allow to get rid of rear gears.
Like the schlumpf, it is easier to implement that a Pinion or a Vboxx, and also cheaper..

Arthur, you should offer that option on the Typhoon :)
68mm bb, no alternatives.
Vector is around 100 i guess and not even a usuall bb.
You should have read closer :), it says:
GTRO Gearbox is compatible with most bicycle frames using standard square tapered 4 flats BB’s with 68 mm or 100 mm wide BB

That is only two speeds, for that I would say the ATS below (cheaper version of the Schlumpf made under license) is a better solution

Imho the number of gears is meaningless. The ability to pedal at high speeds is all that matters. I don't care at all which unit you buy anyway.

To be able to pedal at high speed what matters most is the ratio. Below are the max ratio of the 3 solutions
Paterson: 1.59
ATS/Schlumpf: 1.65
Efneo: 1.79

So for a given level of cadence comfort, the Efneo will give you the highest speed.

For the number of gears, they influence your cadence comfort across the whole range of speed you wish to pedal.
If you want to try and maintain a comfortable pedaling cadence at all speeds, and if you want to do that for a wide speed range, like from 5 mph on a trail to 40mph on the flats, that third gear will give you a bit more comfort in the middle, where the first one would have you pedal too fast and the last too slow.

So it does depends on your intended use of the bike :)

Vwctor frames goes with standard 100mm BB if someone interested.

We have 4 piston brakes Zurich from Tektro. Tested, very smooth, and much better modulation control comparing to 2 piston brakes. Price 119usd for compleate set with 203mm rotors and adaptors and regen wires build in.

Also we will have sale on QS205 4T or 7T models soon.. Very good prices. Wait for updates on a web site.

Yea, we switched to the TRP ZURICH as well. Best brakes I've used, personally

Artur,

When a seller in the U.S. says that a set of brakes are sold it means Front and Rear Brake Set together .

When you say a set sells for $ 119 U.S. are you saying $ 119 for just the Front or the Rear ?

So $119 for Front and Rear, or $ 238 for Front and Rear Together ?

They look good, what is the price of replacement Pads ?

Shipping cost to the U.S. ?

What is your website ?

When I said set I mean - caliper, lever, adaptor, rotor, bolts for rotor, bolts for caliper, wires for controller.

I can't imagine someone will find this product with a lower price, so I will assume it was a joke about front and rear for 119$:-))

That is what I thought , however I still do not know what country you are in, so was not sure if there was a very favorable exchange rate with the U.S. Dollar. ( there are so many pages here you could list your website more often )
Anyway
What would they sell for without the Rotors and Rotor Bolts ?

Are the cut off wires from the lever to the controller a add-on, or are these brakes made / designed from the start just for the E-Bike Market ?

Price for shipping to U.S. ?

By the Way , I like the White Frame Bike you have on page 81 and/or page 82 of this thread.
I am waiting for lighter weight and medium travel e-bike frame .

For instance. My Enduro MTB Frame and rear Shock weigh 8 pounds, and it is on the heavy side of the modern Enduro MTB Frames, The Travel is 125-140 mm front and rear, but will take a 150 mm Front Suspension Fork.

Can you make a even lighter frame than the white one ? Like around 10-11 pounds

One made for suspension travel of 150 mm travel front and rear. 150 rear/150-160 front.

I advise you to read more about our frames on a website . There is info about weight and other parameters. About wires from brakes they are built in, watch the video rewiev. The price without rotor and bolts -15$. Feel free to contact us with contact form on web site for faster reply. Thank you!

That Vector light frame is a step closer to what many of us want. ( So far it looks like the frame that I would like most ... if I had some long travel forks and rear shock sitting around .

Let's see if he makes more of a XC version , with ...

Tapered Head Tube

Designed for Suspension travel of 125-150 mm rear air shock , and 130-160 mm Front Suspension Fork , tapered .

With a option of rear swing arm that can accept 650b or 29er wheels. ( up to 3 inch wide )
and
for those of us looking to use a mid-drive instead of a heavy , powerful rear hub ... the rear swing arm also designed to accept the modern hubs
( 12mm x 142 Through Axle hub wheels )

As the case with all XC MTBs the frame just a little lighter as well , not much about 1kg would do.

Now a frame like that would be allow us to get about the most power per weight possible in a Full Suspension Frame.

Power to Weight Ratio , that is what all competitive Motorcycles , Cars, etc. , are designed for.

Lets see if he makes it .

Well, i am building something similar right now, just made the order for the light frame.
Will build it using parts from my old 29er.
I Will use a bbshd for now because thats what i have on the donner bike and will most probably upgrade to a lightning rod kit with 48v battery (maybe 72) on around 100 amps
Battery will be lipo 10ah , donner bike is 16 killos atm with a heavy 20ah 48v 18650 pack .
Thats around 8hp in a 16kg bike , the other bike i am building using the normal vector frame will be a 30kw motorbike

Hubba hubba. Serious power on both those bikes. 8 kw on such a light bike should turn out nice. And if you need more break out the 30 kw.
May I ask what motor and controller combo you will use for the 30 kw? 273 with an APT?

Are you going to be using Front fork and rear shock that has travel aroung 150 mm ?

I just bought a used 150 mm fork , and have a chance to buy a 150 mm travel rear shock .

I Really want to see/hear how a smaller amount of travel works on the Vector Light Frame.

What are you going to be doing to get your rear wheel from your 29 er on to the Vector Light Frame ?

It would be good for that frame to be offered in a choice of the rear swing arm it has now, or a rear swing arm that is through axle ( 12mm x 142 mm ) and can accept a 27.5 or 29 er wheel .

First setup will be a 273 with apt on 100v 350amps.
If it doesnt handle the power properly will change to the 50h 273 and sevcon 120v controller
