Re: Vector e-bike Frame 599$ /Adaptto/Parts WORLDWIDE
I also got a vector light frame like 3 weeks ago. Ive been a bit busy so the build has taken awhile, but Im really impressed with the frame. I dont think you can get anything of this quality at the price that Artur is selling these frames for. The bike is basically finished now (want to upgrade the brakes and add proper lights) and it runs great and I feel like it fits my size quite well. Im 183 cm (6 feet) and to me it doesnt feel small at all. The pinch bolts were a nice touch as well and i was expecting that i would have to buy a lot of little things to build this frame, but everythign was included
Ive been in constant contact with Artur and he has been very helpful with my first non kit build. Im tempted to buy another one just to play with, but i dont think my wife would allow it

I think you can easily add on the plate with pinch bolts with 2 bolts.Artur wrote: ↑Nov 28 2017 9:41amstandart drops can handle 7-9kw hub motor. tested.skeetab5780 wrote: ↑Nov 28 2017 9:28amdropouts with pinch bolts! I got suckered into the old model! Doh

Artur, my frame had finally arrived and I am very happy with it.
However, I ordered the 150mm dropout version and have been sent the fatbike version instead.
Can you confirm that you do infact sell a 150mm swingarm?
Re: Vector e-bike Frame 599$ /Adaptto/Parts WORLDWIDE
fat bike version is for fat bike motors. it is about 180mm, and if you put dropout plates inside it will be 164mm. since it is steel frame you can push it to 150-155. (typhoon fatbike swingsrm is 155.)

I have a mxus v3 motor with 150mm axle, so was happy to see you offering the 150mm version of the lite frame. However after purchasing it, the swingarm I have been sent is 190mm wide.Artur wrote: ↑Dec 14 2017 11:08amfat bike version is for fat bike motors. it is about 180mm, and if you put dropout plates inside it will be 164mm. since it is steel frame you can push it to 150-155. I have been emailing your assistant, who had now asked me to post the whole frame back to Germany for a refund. I assume this will be at my cost.
If you do stock a 150mm swingarm, can you please just send me that? Or if I have to send the whole frame back, will it be at my cost?

how did you plan to use 150mm dropouts swingarm with motor that has 150mm axel? i hope you understand 150mm dropouts is a size between dropouts from inner side. Our standart swingarm is 135 that you can easly pull to 145..mxus v3 motor with 150mm axle
The one you have is 164mm, and can pe pulled to 155mm.

I asked for a 150mm swingarm.Artur wrote: ↑Dec 15 2017 6:20amhow did you plan to use 150mm dropouts swingarm with motor that has 150mm axel? i hope you understand 150mm dropouts is a size between dropouts from inner side. The one I received is 190mm. This is too wide to bend.
Re: Vector e-bike Frame 599$ /Adaptto/Parts WORLDWIDE
if dropouts with torque plates inside doesnt fit - you can return frame and we will refund money (please inform us before sending). We dont have swingarm150mm in this color. we have 135mm or 180mm.

a motor with 150mm axle means width between dropout, or did i miss something?Artur wrote: ↑Dec 15 2017 6:20amhow did you plan to use 150mm dropouts swingarm with motor that has 150mm axel? i hope you understand 150mm dropouts is a size between dropouts from inner side. bending the swingarm means the dropout plates will have a V-shape or are no more parallel.
Now think what happens if you tight the nut's of the motor axle..
Re: Vector e-bike Frame 599$ /Adaptto/Parts WORLDWIDE
motor with 150mm axel means motor with 150mm axel. motor for 150mm dropouts means motor for 150mm dropouts.
p.s. many ppl want to use cassete with 6-9 gears with motor, you need extra 30-50mm for this. This is why we did is 180mm without plates and 164 with plates inside for FATBIKE swingarm.
p.s.s. fatbike motors need 180mm dropouts or more (we use bafang fatbike motors)
true, but if you bend it 5mm from each side it will change angle for 1-2 degree if you think about the length of dropout. this is too small to have any effect on a bike. Did it with 150mm pulled to 160mm, worked abolutly greate, no problems at all. so far 2 years withaout any issues.bending the swingarm means the dropout plates will have a V-shape or are no more parallel.

Artur, I don't want to fight with you, I am just hoping to get what I ordered and paid for. I have sent Anastasia an email with the photos of the 190mm dropouts, I can't add them here as the file is too large.Artur wrote: ↑Dec 15 2017 8:08ammotor with 150mm axel means motor with 150mm axel. motor for 150mm dropouts means motor for 150mm dropouts.

This isn't a matter of me wanting it swapped because I am not happy, I was sent the wrong item.
I am happy to swap this swingarm for a 135mm version however Anastasia claims that it won't fit this frame. Is that correct?
Re: Vector e-bike Frame 599$ /Adaptto/Parts WORLDWIDE
As you can see, these dropouts are 187mm wide. There is no way this motor is going to fit in this swingarm safely and would cause havoc with disk alignment.Artur wrote: ↑Dec 15 2017 8:08ammotor with 150mm axel means motor with 150mm axel. motor for 150mm dropouts means motor for 150mm dropouts.

For everyone's info, Artur has offered to swap the swingarm for a 135mm version as they do not have a 150mm version.
I'm interested to know who will have to pay for the postage each way.

Re: Vector e-bike Frame 599$ /Adaptto/Parts WORLDWIDE
Shorza just so you know the 135mm version barely fits the 28-30mm stamped steel DD hub motors they make in it with 1 small washer on each inner side, it is steel so some people would just bend it for 150mm, but I wouldn't be up for the task
What motor are you using? I agree that fat bike swingarm is wayyy too wide and ridiculous for a regular hub motor LOL
How far out are they on making the 150mm they said they were in production?

We don't have 150mm atm. I can't send you 135mm as you have custom color swingarm. I can just refund as I said in previous message.

I've got the same frame and motor. My frame should be arriving next week. Hey Shorza, if you switch the pinching plates to the inside is there any threads sticking out? This is a real bummer I was really looking forward to this frame.

Re: Vector e-bike Frame 599$ /Adaptto/Parts WORLDWIDE
A Vector Light , Main Frame with a Typhoon Rear Swing Arm ? ?
Because that is what we want . Well a Typhoon Rear Swing Arm that has adjustable axle length ( for adjusting chain tension) , like Motorcycles do .
By the way ( B.T.W. ) How many series of cells and parallel can the Vector Light Main Frame Hold
in other words what voltage and total amps of a battery pack is there room for in both ..
1) 18650 cells ?
and
2) Lipo Packs ?
