I fit a 20s 6p pack of 18650s with a bms. I had to change the bolts from cap to hex head. Was a tight fit 115mm is not accurate as the bolt heads for suspension and seat take away from the 115mm dimension. I even grinded them down a few mm and rewrapped my pack to get every last mm. You could fit more than 20s or maybe 7p but not symmetrical tab layout and a very tight fit. I used Samsung 25r and can pull 120 amps continuous if I want but my Bluetooth bms max is 99a.

A Vector Light , Main Frame with a Typhoon Rear Swing Arm ? ?

Because that is what we want . Well a Typhoon Rear Swing Arm that has adjustable axle length ( for adjusting chain tension) , like Motorcycles do .

By the way ( B.T.W. ) How many series of cells and parallel can the Vector Light Main Frame Hold
in other words what voltage and total amps of a battery pack is there room for in both ..

1) 18650 cells ?
and
2) Lipo Packs ?

Would like to find out Typhoon Vector frame weight.
Some old posts say that it weights - 9kg
Some newer posts mentions - 12kg.

Which weight applies to current Typhoon frames (including bicycle seat post mount)?

with side panels, and all the bolts +BB+headset+dropoutplates... it will be 12kg

I have the new fatbike rear end for the Storm frame but I'm having some issues finding a crankset that will fit. Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems like you can run a 36T max. Any larger and it looks like it will end up hitting the frame. Also the crank arms look like they need to be really short otherwise it will hit the frame as well. I went to my local bike shop today and we tried to test fit a 170mm length crank arm and it hit the frame.

*EDIT 1/27/18 - It looks like there are no human sized crank arms that will work with the bottom bracket spindle that was included. I've held up the bolt that's used to connect the frame together. The bolt is only about 4 inches long. In order for this new rear end to be usable, we need a longer bottom bracket spindle.

Image

I'll be emailing Vector to see how this issue can be fixed. Until then, I'd probably hold off on ordering this part.

How long is the spindle ? ( measure the width )

it is probably a 73 mm wide BB frame, so you can fit a 73 x 107mm on up to a 73 x 122.5 mm wide spindle Shimano BB

Here is a link. http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/us/e ... -prod71369

Perhaps there are other sellers that sell an even wider spindle width.

It's a 100mm bb shell with a 164mm width spindle.

That's interesting , do they offer 160 mm crank arms ?

Do you think a 160 mm crank arm will work ?, 160 mm arms are available .

When I said " Interesting " , I mean interesting that they would design the rear triangle like they did, some bike Mfg's with that type of suspension design, or even hard tail bikes, have a thinner block of metal from the Bottom Bracket back , then when enough distance is made for the crank and chain rings they weld the seat stays and chain stays back from there so that there is enough room for both crank / chain ring clearance and wide tires.

Something like this ... https://i0.wp.com/bmxunion.com/wp-conte ... C400&ssl=1

does not look like the cranks are fully seated in those pics.. did you install them to manufacturers recommended torque spec??

each cranks has individual shape and size. I agree some may not fit. But with this one (Shimano Nexus) we have built over 50 bikes :)

but did you tighten the cranks down completely to manufacturers recommended torque spec.. when tightened properly they should seat to the base of the taper on the spindle.. otherwise under hard riding, etc you can get deformation of the aluminum crank arms at the spindle interface thereby making it difficult to keep the cranks tightened and free from creaky noise.. what torque setting did you use? it is very easy to under or over tighten crank arms if your not using a torque wrench, leading to problems later.. we see this problem very often at the bike shop when servicing bikes assembled by others..

just started some tests with a Mxus V3 (3kw) on this frame, could you please share your experience, confirm, complete info in bellow table? with 26" wheel, and no more than 100kg load (passenger with winter clothes)

You say you started tests with MXUS 3kw, but you chose not MXUS 3kw in your simulation.
From you simulation, I see you are talking about MXUS 3006 (9kv), which is about 1kw or 1.5kw nominal.
It has 135 axle, it is good for the frame and bicycle 26'' tyre fits in the frame.

Those are just simulations, graphs... It's better to decide what you want from the bike, speed, distance, hills, torque and get certain components for it.
If you just starting ebike hub endevor than there is just thing: smaller the wheel better mechanical advantage motor has, better acceleration, less stress on the motor.

We started real tests with Mxus V3 on a Vector frame, see results after one day, in table.
I tried to see what is saying the ebikes.ca simulator about this, i can not see on their list the Mxus V3, i thought 3006 is some older version. Thank you for telling me that 3006 is half power compared to V3. If you have real tests, maybe you can share your experience. If you know another simulator, that has Mxus V3 on their list, or a similar hub, please share.

It has MXUS 45H 3kw version. You need to press sho wall at the very bottom of drop down list:

OK, so Mxus 4504 is similar with Mxus 3000w V3? Thank you, that was helpful.

In short, yes, it is the motor.

MXUS 4506 MXUS 4505 MXUS 4504 MXUS 4503
All these are MXUS motos with 45mm width stator (magnets), only Turns differ ie 6,5,4,3 (different RPM/V ).
3kw nominal

Few nominations:
MXUS 3KW they refer to MXUS 450X hubs with 45mm width magnets version 2 or version 3. There is old version 1, not sold any more.
MXUS 5kw they refer to MXUS 550X hubs with 55mm width magnets, version 1.

QS 205 3kw they refer to QS 205 3kw 50mm width magnets, version 3 .
QS 205 2kw they refer to QS 205 2kw 50mm width magnets, version 2.

MXUS 3006
MXUS motos with 30mm magnets, the last digit also determines Turns.
~1.5kw nominal

By the way,
There are no QS motors at the present time in the simulation.
I don't know any more hubs simulation platforms than the one you are using.

My intention is to make range not speed or acceleration. That is why I am looking for efficient pedalling at speed as high as possible, above 45km/h. When i bought the frame i was told that i can put 800mm wheel, it is written on the site at specs. Now I see that radius is much smaller.

Probably this bigger 800mm diameter applies to fat bike swing arm which is sold separately.
I've measured my Kenda Flame 26'' 3'' (actually 2.7'' width) tyre diameter - 700mm. So it should fit into your swing arm as it is. I guess you are trying to install Fat bike tyre?
