In that case you need 10C batteries, which are samsung 25r and 20r, sony vtcr and vtc4, and lg he2. I prefer samsung 25r.

You only need to connect balance wires to the parallel group of batteries, because they always have the same voltage, and you should think of them as a one larger cell.

HI! I'm almost decided to buy those LG cells! For that price its the only thing I could afford.. :roll:

But I can't find some very important information as max Cycles Life, life expectancy in years, max Amps discharge..

I wanted to buy the panasonic ncr18650PF in NKON, because the price.. and they are very famous as I see, for durability one of the best cells in the market.

http://www.nkon.nl/rechargeable/18650-s ... 00mah.html

So what do you recommend?

(I will present myself soon along with my ebike project :))

Cycles life should be ~1000 as in all li-ion cells. Producent wrote that max discharge is 10A.
Panasonic 's reach higher capacities from LG at higher loads. It depends on what you use the discharge currents and how many cells will be made package . If you have a package made from a large number of cells currents will decompose into individual cells so there won't be much difference between Panasonic 's . Above you can see a graph of the discharge cells LG and Panasonic 's .

Thank you! I guess I have no reason to not buy them :)

Would be so diffcicult to remove all the welded nickel pieces?

Because I want to configure in a different way and weld again

If you do it before it's no problem. Need a tactic :) Also you don't need remove all, you can cut weld near cell. I have cells packs with 100% welded and 50% or less. You can choose less welded so will less to remove. I have 1 pack (40 cells) with all welds removed. More on priw.

All cells are 3,6V +-0,05V (fabric voltage).

It's like 10A on 1 cells. It's too much.

Just a week to arrive to Madrid. Everything just perfect.
I will report cells voltage soon.

Just a quick feedback - received 120 LG cells few days ago. Everything went really smooth, the cells got delivered in around a week, the packaging was probably the best I've seen. All the cells are around 3.6V as promised, exact marking on mine is LGDBMG11865.
Thanks for a great deal. For anyone still undecided - can really recommend.

Hi Guys,

I'm looking at the LG Cells in a 14s 6p config to power a BBs02. How much current can i safely draw continuously / peak from these LG Cells --> i can't seem to find a reliable data sheet :/

*/DATA --> 6p/5p current loading per cell in a 14s pack /*
****************************************************************************************************************************
Cell Loading 6p
Continuous
750w / 48v (nominal voltage ish) = 15.625amps --> for an individual cell (6p config) = (15.625 / 6) -->2.6amps

Peak
1400 /48v = 29.16667 amps --> for an individual cell (6p config) = (29.166667 / 6) --> 4.8611amps

Low end V at Peak load (is this a realistic issue ??)
1400/42 (14 * 3v --> low V cut off) = 33.3amps --> for an individual cell (6p config) = (33.333/6) --> 5.555amps

Cell Loading 5p
Continuous = (15.625 / 5) --> 3.125amps
Peak = (29.166667 / 5) --> 5.8333amps
Low V at Peak Load = (33.333/5) --> 6.6666 amps

According to this page: http://detail.1688.com/offer/38078378051.html (use google translate) the max discharge for each cell is 10A, so just under 4C. I am pretty sure that is peak discharge, not constant. I wouldn't go above about 2.5C constant discharge on these just to be safe. They'll probably do more, but you'll shorten the life of the cells.

Got my 80 cells and just like everyone said they were packaged great! What an awesome source for cheap, brand new cells. I'm going to wire the two packs as 20s, add a BMS and wham bam got me a 72V 11.6AH pack for cheap :-)
