I know there's lots of talk about motors out there is the MXUS3000 a dependable motor that's can take a lot of abuse, has this motor been around a wile. Will i get the same speed I have now on flat roads. Also will the wiring be the same and plug into the bikes connections. your right about the forks i'm going for the Marzocchi 888 RC3 Evo unlesss there's a better choice out there.

Not sure about the speed, if 4t does not get you there then maybe you need to go with 3t. Better ask teslanv, he cells them so he knows.
It is the most popular motor here in ES so sure it has been tested, even the pros around here ditched all motors in favor of mxus.
You will have to change all the connectros to make it fit.
888 is a very good choice.

45Ah should be charged at about half of the capacity so 22Amps. 30A Coil would be ok for that. If you want to fast charge at 1C=45A take the bigger one, but you need to have a PSU that can produce 45A

hey Allex, i searched, but didn't find an official answer.
What is the real life continues power that the MaxE can do? can it take 8kw like the Sabvoton 72150 in this clip?

Hey Allex,

Wiring in the Hall sensor connector for my recently purchased Max E from Envolt I was suprised to see it was a six pin unit instead of the 7 pin connector that came with the Mini-E. I checked the diagram onthe website and found how the pins are numbered, then looked in the manual to check which circuits go to which wires. BUT.... it seems when I opened the connector at the Adaptto end it was different to the table in the manual! According to the manual: Yellow connects to 1), Green connects to 2), and Blue connects to 3). According to the pins on the connector Blue is connected to 1), Yellow is connected to 2) and Green is connected to 3).

Question is, do I go with the manual, or with the colours observed in the actual connector attached to the Max-E ? Will it make any difference, or does the autodetect put hall sensors in right sequence?

Why do some have 6 Pin some have 7 Pin? That must make it difficult to swap controllers unless you know what connectors the unit has. Was it related to build date or controller model?

Mudale, with suffucient cooling you can do 8kW with no problem, make sure to install it out side the frame.

Sundrive, yes the last batch of controllers use 6 pin connectors. I dont know why they changed but it could probably be that they could not get 7 pin at the moment.
This is something both me and Adaptto are now regretting.
It does not matter how you connect the halls, autodetect will solve this anyway.
Mine is:
1 - Green
2 - Yellow
3 - Blue

Hello i have a mid-e controller it has a 5 pin connector output, and there was a 6 pin connector with it to connect, what doesn't work.
I had to wait till next week before they could send me the rigth connentor so i decide to change the output connector. Strange adaptto use another colorcode on the outputconnector.
Two red and green for the hall sensors and yellow for positive and brown negative, is this normal?

Bionicon, sorry Eaton can be programmed as low as 43V and this will be 3,58V per cell at 12s You need a PSU that can deliver 12s*2,5(3)=30V(36V) or lower.

Max-Es are out, Adaptto tells that next batch will be ready in two month :(

CobraJet, I can hook you up easily.
I sent you a PM.

Alex, these frames are now called FUTR/future - can you edit the title to reflect this so there's no confusion with the 'other' flux.
