Gosh you folks are almost at 20! :D

Don't forget, they ship two motors to a box and will not pack one motor to a box.

So your distribution to individual buyers is going to require re-boxing and then shipping to each.

So the motor would come unlaced, right? Did someone check with the manufacturer if they'd offer laced motor+rim sets. That should be cheaper than having someone else lace it for you (costs around €100 for the service alone).

They also offer laced.
But not all want a 26" rim.
I know the laced Clyte motors and they are really awful. Its made with a half automated machine and cheapest spokes/rim and no washers or eyelets.
These wheels don't last long when pushed hard.
I myself have learned wheel lacing and its really good to know your wheel in every detail especially when run hi-power.
So i will order only bare motors because its otherwise just a hassle not worth.

+1 on all the above.

Chinese rims and spokes are cheap junk. Don't be fooled by the heavy looking spokes.

Be prepared to be frequently tightening and replacing spokes and truing your wheel.

You are on your own. The local bike shop won't have 12 gauge spokes nor will they want to work on it.

To all those concerned by wheel build. I've settled on buying and using Rigida Andra 40 rims and Sapim Strong butted custom length spokes from http://komponentix.net/
Where necessary, I use brass shims (DT makes some) to eliminate play between spoke shoulder and hub motor flange.
I build my wheels myself copying patterns off commercial builds and they hold up much better than factory e-wheels thanks to the quality durable stuff I use.
Harris cyclery has a great writeup on basics of wheel building that goes far beyond what most factory motors manufacturers practice.
My Tacx truing stand cost 40€ and a good spoke key can be had for 8€. That's no excuse for not trying it yourself. Just be patient and listen to what other say about wheel builds.

Erm, no, really.
I ride a cargo bike with 26 inch front MAC and unless I power the front motor kinda modestly (front phase current limited to 30A), it still wants to skid all over the place. So especially with a 20 inch wheel, even a 6kg motor is overkill, but an even heavier one would just be adding unnecessary weight to your bike.

Hilarious. I have no idea what this vid meant to say apart from "Yes you can actually mount two hubmotors on a bike and crazy bob is a good tyre".
I could make a video like this pedaling my pushbike. It would look less silly because I'd actually pedal that thing, my bike wouldn't weigh 30 kilos, and the video would be as relevant to the topic as this.
