MXUS is offering laced for about 40€ more per motor.
20" 24" 26" possible. With strong downhill rim with eyelets and 12G spokes.
But than is only with DHL shipping possible.
Who from this group have interest in laced motor and which rim size ??

Not wait.
All who want not this normal version motor must say now that they don't want buy anymore.
All who don't have trust in me and don't want pay on 5.October i can make eBay this motor for him as escrow but this costs 10% !
If on 6.October there are 2 motors not payed for. I can compensate it and will also buy them but more than that and i have to cancel this and pay money back.

EU buyers please understand clearly:
\/ampa and I are coordinating the EU & USA group buy orders to be placed on the same day and for the same specifications of motor. We will be ordering the V1 motor, which is the motor that is demo'd in the Video from the original thread.

And just to be clear, we are not waiting for the second version, because there is no definite timeline for when the second version will be available for purchase. The inventor, e4bike has not yet received his test units yet for the V2 from MXUS.
There is also a rumor that the new version 2 will have a much higher MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity). This may mean it would be very difficult to get a group buy arranged for the second version. The alternative will be to buy the version two from a middleman at a higher cost. If you want to wait for the Version 2 motor, please keep these things in mind, as I do not think you will be able to get the second version as easily and for as cheap as we are getting the version 1, and certainly not as soon as we will have the Version 1.

Regarding performance of the Version 1 motor:
e4bike.ru wrote:We had 250A phase current in that video. Just to have a good acceleration.

If you will have 80A battery with 100V (95 after a sag I think) the total power will reach 7.5kW. I think you can easily reach 90kmh (if using 120%) and maybe 95 on a flat long road. But I should strongly recommend using the thermosensor when feeding such power. And this motor will soon overheat on such speed. It allows driving 70-75kmh continuously for a usual bike. 80+ will make it overheat.
We will be ordering the V1 motors with halls and temperature sensors, so you will be able to monitor the heat in your motors.

I am very excited about this purchase and getting my MXUS "Mini-Cromotor" installed on my bike. It should still be a great motor, even though it is not the "Version 2"

This is all the info i found posted by Valentin
e4bike.ru wrote:
The motor in the video is the first version, the proof of concept. We developed a new version with several modifications and it is in production now. MXUS is only an assembling factory now. We ordered main parts of the motor from other suppliers. For a new version we changed stator base, iron core, windings, magnets and some other minor parts. The dimensions will remain the same (135mm dropout width, so you can easily fit it in every bicycle frame) and the weight should be added just a little bit.

We hope getting the new version soon to make some serious tests before ice covers all roads here. :D
Ebikebert wrote:Im so ready to buy the second version of this motor!!! e4bike do you know if the new changed stator will be aluminum for better heat dissipation? How much more do you think the second version will be due to the harder manufacturer process? Thanks for your help man us here at endless-sphere greatly appreciate it!!
The new stator base will allow much better heat dissipation. The new version is a bit more expensive. Despite the more expensive parts and harder manufacturer process we managed to lower the total price because of bigger order.[/quote]
e4bike.ru wrote:It is a bit early for the price. In fact we didn't plan to ship outside Russia. But if there is an interest for this motor then we will talk with MXUS to try to make the shipping for the reasonable price directly from the factory.

The production of samples have already started. We hope we can get them in October to make several tests. So the new motors should be ready for dispatch in November.

I think i am in for this V1 but i also think it would be good for all us to get in consideration that maybe in 1 month and some days we could buy the V2 that seems to be the best option nearly for the same price.

Hi Guys,
I think you are confused on motor versions.

V1: Old motor. 0.5mm lams and stamped stator.
V1.5 or V2 - I dont care what you call it: 0.33 mm (thinner) lams and stamped stator. Goes ok by me in the video. Temp sensor added. Potential to drill side plates if you think you are into cruising around at 80kph. You can buy it now. I have.

V3 or whatever: Cast stator to be release in a few months. Minimum order quantity 400 for casting.

I'll be receiving six of the second one in a week or so. I'm happy with that - it's not dissimilar to a 4065 spec with a better axle build for a third of the price.

But with the cast stator its not so easy to do the inside fan cooling mod. Which i would like to do.
http://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewto ... =0#p905707

I have now written to MXUS regarding the 033mm lams option.

We need still 3 more buyers and here are some members in this group with very few postings and i can't be sure if they are just trolling...
So i have to delay this till we have enough buyers again.
