The videos are coming! We have had 43 degree weather and the 100km winds and rain havnt had a chance to get out and do some good filming!

The air gap is exactly the same as on a normal factory built outrunner. we have increased tolorance to actualy make that air gap more consistent.
The reason why I wasn't going to give a kv rating at first is because it is so hard to get the correct winding! Iv tested so many and some work and some don't as well, and yes I have had stators come that just don't have enough copper,
What we are looking at is trying to wind in Wye to reduce the kv of the motors but still keep the copper up,
If in Wye we need 12 winds and we can have 3 strands of 0.72mm wire (21gage)
Or 1 strand of 1.15mm (17gage)
If we wind in delta its 1 strand of 0.72mm or 3 strands of 0.51mm.
I'm not sure actualy how much but Wye windings reduce the power rating because of the higher resistance, but with the lack of copper in the stator in delta the copper can not handle enough current! And Wye is meant to be more efficient.
If the 6364 based hub motor works using the 5330 stator then his will increase the copper and give more power!
