Hey Jacob,

The videos were great. I cant wait to get my set. I'm hoping to build or buy a vedder ESC for my 2 motor setup. I am hoping to make a small wire cover/housing to clip or screw to the trucks to help route the wires toward the electronics box. What controller are you using? Wii nunchuck? Your own?

I work 5 buildings away from Boosted and will make sure to whiz by them when they are out and see them green with envy... :)

Amazing job,

Marc

Iv talked to a company and worked out a price for the BLC custome ESC designed by Vedda.

It will coast $105usd for 20pcs to order assembled! Or $75 each for 100pcs to order at cost!

I can put the firmware on them for an extra fee but because it's open source hardware no profit!

If any one is interested please let me know! By PM thanks

The wheels are not Cnced it costs an extra $10 per wheel to be Cnced, for under 50 wheels. I have lots of spare flywheel style wheels cnced spare! But not the kegels there just so expensive.

This project has cost me a lot. My wife is t liking it!!! Haha
I actualy forgot to charge ppl in USD as that what I pay for most of the orders in, so every $100 AUS I got I missed out on just about $30 so it cost me an extra $600 to get you all your wheels! Gay but we live and learn.

But on a less depressing note!

Have a look at these wheels! Yummy!

I'm also hoping to do a test order for some carbon fibre foam core longboard decks.
I know the company who makes evolve carbon decks but there heat mould fee is $1500 and the decks are $300 each for samples under 100!

That have offered to do some normal airbag decks for me so there is no mould fee for testing! I have to order 10 decks and they are $200 each usd.
The design I want to do is similar to the rayne rival deck but with electronics holes in the deck.

The foam core will be 16mm thick with 1.5mm carbon on top and bottom!
I have been talking to a local surfboard designer and he help me with a design to keep the deck strong.
The deck will have sections for components like battery ESC each section will be separated by cross sections of foam and fiber to keep the deck strong in the centre! There are 6 sections 70mm x 170mm big enough to fit a zippy 2s 8000mah battery pack 4 of them so 8s also to fit an alien twin 120a ESC! And a Bms the alien ESC with need 4mn shaved off of the heatsink!

If your interested in ordering 1 of these test deck to help with the production PM me!
Only requires half payment untill they have actualy made them. But I can no way Garentee that they will be as strong as we need or that they will be nice to ride all i can say is iv risen the evolve deck and they arnt bad!

For a very low price of $150 I can have noarmal longboad deck that is already 15mm thick and then have the compartments cut out and then covered in carbon 1.5mm each side. It will be stiffer stronger you have a deck shape that is already good but it will be a lot more weight. But min order is only 5pcs!

so what would a couple of the cncd kegels wheels truly cost to usa while keeping the misses happy? will the abec clones fit the motors as well? still would rather the kegel though. but then I don't even have the first ones yet so there's no rush. But when shipping from Australia..

Any one who wants an extra set of Kegel wheels 2 Cnced and 2 noarmal I'll have to charge $70 usd

Just send me a pm letting me know that you have sent the money to jacob.bloy@gmail.com on paypal!

Have to be quick coz I need to put the order in for the know or your order will be delayed! :)

Thanks guys!

Ok so iv been looking at sensors for these motors it's just a pain to put them in the stator, so I'm trying optical sensors,
Same as has been done before.

Again if you want these there $15 each and I'll put the in your order but it could delay the order just by 1 week.

These images show how they are placed, but they will be the other way around, the pcb against the stator and the decoder chip on the inside of the motor cap. Or you can mount them external. Watch the videos.

Let me know! I'll put up a video of how they work.
But same deal if you want them pm me letting me know you have sent the $15 for 1 motor or $30 for 2 in USD to my paypal and I'll add it to your order!

Awesome! I'll likely pm u about both wheels and sensor. But will the sensors make it quieter or more efficient? Otherwise I guess they're just good for starting? Or maybe stopping?

Hey Jacob,

I just saw your post regarding the optical sensors. I too tried to do the same thing for my electric flexboard build, but had mixed results. here is a link to the post and have a look at page 2 for the circuit board I designed. https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewto ... 5&start=25

I was trying to use this with a Hobby king RC 150amp RC car speed control. for some reason the control woudl not recognize the sensors. We tested them on an Oscope and they were sending signals. if you can get it to work this would be a great upgrade to your design. Will the beta version be able to retrofit sensors? If to do so it required some machining, I can do that if needed. I am 230lbs so sensors would be good for me. I also ordered some of the ESC boards from vedder and plan to solder up 3 esc's (one extra just in case) to try out on your motors.

Also 2 more questions. I already have batteries that were for my Flexboard but the pack woudl be a 10s 5000mah pack per motor. Can your motors take 10S? If not what is the max? 8S?

Also last dumb question. The Surfrodz trucks I want to buy have 8mm shafts. I just want to make sure that matches your motors and locking screw are designed for an 8mm shaft. I saw your mention of getting boned on the error of AUS and USD funds. If that error happened on my order and you need more money from me let me know. Your working hard to offer us a new beta product and its not good you get boned on payments after all your hard work. Especially if the wife knows... :D

Cant wait to get my motors...

Marc

Thanks guys all motors are finished in just waiting for them to arrive, iv added the tracking number for every one to see,
I had the motors wound in China because I need more practice! But they had 4 stators short after chipping the coating on the copper so they had to rewind them.

I ran out of money to order the rest of the wheels so have to wait to get payed need $500 the aud dollar dropped to 0.7c us and its screwed me!

But here's some pics of the motors!
