In the 3000W-5000W range of this system, the fat hubmotor as an option has already proven itself. I am truly excited to soon be seeing some builds with 20-inch rear wheel (22-inch DOT moped tire) allowing a big-block to be mounted just in front of the rear wheel. A simple sprocket change (after the bike is bought and/or built) can change the top-speed and short-range acceleration.

You could have a 50-MPH street cruiser that can stay up with traffic...or (after a 5-minute sprocket swap) geared to 35-MPH would easily beat exotic cars from stoplight to stoplight...(if you can keep the front wheel down!)

Spinningmagnets think how fast that bike would be if you put a jockey size rider on it. Sorry LFP lol.
Look at the rear sprocket on the disc side.
I think that's a farfle custom swing arm.

Ditto the option, just trying to keep Teslav concentrating on getting the first "kit" all tidied up so when a few builds start showing up it can fuel a viral launch as for something like this to fly there has to be near zero friction. In other words, one click buy it all or a simple list of components you choose then click.

All docs, guides, videos go to support this exact configuration. All the online discussion is confined to this uni-design thus minimizing the dilution of the power of the builders to go off topic.

Personally, I am totally in the mid frame mounted design so would love seeing a non hub motor option. But as we all know rear hubs are the most simple option with the fewest parts, fewest ways to install improperly, and least potential for complications. These are key ingredients for low friction.

We all know there are lots more on the detail check list, some Spinning mentions. Flexibility and more options are what we desire but not to the person who has a screwdriver, pair of pliers, and adjustable wrench as his toolkit.

Stay focused my friend.

Now close your eyes so I can paste the link to the Revolt-Norco swingarm mounted design

The main rear pivot on the stock Genesis appears to have a small bolt recessed in it. From your previous comments this pivot unit can be used with your swingarm, correct? Also, does one remove this pivot by just removing the one bolt or is a bearing press needed too? I want to start disassembling the bike so that when parts are available I'll be ready.

Is there any ES bikes build as of today with the big-block mounted in front of the rear wheel on the swingarm?
I just wonder how that would look - wouldn't the big-block look a bit big and bulky mounted on the swing arm?

I know this isnt a Farfle swingarm, but these 5-inch diameter motors will fit, when using a 20-inch wheel:

Thx spinningmagnets. As always you provide :)

No reduction and a tiny rear sprocket - geared for top speed?

If getting an LR big block, I would definitely get the jackshaft regardless of the voltage to be used. It makes the sprocket choices very easy and affordable to fine tune the system, or even to swap-out the entire performance envelope in only 5 minutes whenever you want.

What is the name of that German battery bag that straddles the top tube and looks kind of like a motorcycle gas tank? That bag would look cool on the v2100.
Now i remember Additive ebike battery bag. I don't think it will work on a dual crown fork though

My 30s lipo v2100. There is no way to make 125v setup stealthy so I'm going for the anti-stealth look.

I let a few of my coworkers take it for a test ride. The ebike grin is infectious in my neighborhood.

sounds like a memorable ride. Guess Assault and Battery proves more fitting than anything with stealth in the name :)

What is the maximum dimensional width of the tire you used?
I'm looking at Heidenau M3 as an option. Sadly every tire seems to have a slightly larger dimension and varies from maker to maker. Argh!
Thanks Justin_le we're here thanks to you. All the best to the mods for their tireless work keeping it on an even keel.

Not sure what you are asking, Tom.

The Rim I used was a 17X1.6" Moped Rim, so most 17" Motorcycle or Moped Tires should fit. I used a 17X2.25" Tire, which has an Outside diameter of 21.5", since I wanted to maximize forward thrust, but 17X2.5", 17X2.75" and 17X3.0 Tires should also work fine with the 17x1.6" Rim. a 17x3.0" Tire would have an outside diameter of 23"

I think I know what you mean. I have 2.75 x 19 shinko front and back on prowheel 19x1,4 rims and the width of those when inflated is actually 3.2 to 3.3 inches when measured on the knobs (the very widest point)

teslanv, do you have the chance to do a material test on that frame?
maybe you have a company near you which can measure brinell hardness of this aluminum. than you can roughly imply how many N/mm² or MPa it has.
This would make you feel more safe or not

Believe me, edwolf. I had the same fears before I actually rode this bike. After several high-speed test rides, I no longer have this fear. But please don't do anything you are not comfortable doing.
There have been many guys on this forum using the Genesis V2100 frame.

I don't know what the hardness is but I have been running the crap out of the same frame for over 2 years and no problems yet. But I don't go over 60 miles per hour too often

So slip charge mode.
What does this do exactly?
Does it kind of feel like engine braking?
Or is it more subtle?

Slip charge is kinda like engine braking. It just does a slight regen brake whenever you lay off the throttle.
