Looks like shinko's sr241's are finally in Oz.
I have ordered a few and will report back if they turn up
-EDIT. They have started bringing in both the 244 and 241's. They are avilible through the importer on the east coast.
244's are about 85 bucks from my local moto shop 241's are 85 on the net. I have orded a set of both

Confirmed mate, they are here. I have both 241 and 244's. 241 is probably a better tire for offroad. The 244's have a harder compound.

well my friend, i could, but i suspect after the shipping cost, you might be better to buy from treatland tv moped store or somewhere like that..
i will look into it anyway.
the only thing these rims might have over your local ones is they are custom for smaller spoke nipples if required, to be used with front mtb hubs, or can be drilled for larger ones with rear hubs.

Just started lacing up my front wheel and it seems i have ran into a bit of a issue. i followed this guide on youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_6Sd3bMeDck&t=77s) to lace to front wheel. although now after lacing the wheel and tightening the spokes it seems that the The 3rd cross spokes (the spokes than go in the opposite direction to the other spokes) are hanging out around 4-6mm longer than they should be, although the rest of the spokes seem fine. i can't cut the spokes down 6mm as they would have almost no thread left. what am i doing wrong?. i put the spokes coming from the right side of the hub into the holes in the left of the rim, was this the wrong thing to do?. but according to the guide i followed i had to place the first drive side spoke to the left of the valve hole which was a hole to the left side of the rim. here's some photos of what i'm talking about:

im no expert, but 222mm rings a bell for lacing the 19s with most front hubs, that i did last time.

looks like the nipples are not seating properly on some of the holes, perhaps they are too large, if this is the case, will need to drill very slightly, but not too much as this will effectively make the ERD smaller, and spokes too long.
if you dont need to, better not.

another thing to remember is that where the elbows are on the outside of the hub, the distance will be longer.

from memory, it does not matter which way you start lacing with regards to the valve, as with moto rims, the direction of the spoke holes will sort that out automatically.

Thanks RTL for supplying the rims and ozman and others for the spoke calcs for the mxus 3000w motor, i went with 128mm spokes as suggested, laced them up and then had them trued and tensioned in the shop. Excellent result. The inner spokes are at about their limit though. Which is fine, but if anyone is pedantic, a slightly shorter spoke could be the way to go for the inner ones. (shorter distance).

I'm only using them for the rear so unsure of fronts.
