hey! just wondering if the half twist throttle you sell with the controller has a regen button on it. or if you sell a button that can be used for regen. or do i have to purchase a regen button from say ebay and figure out how to wire it. thankyou :)

The half-twist throttle has a 3-speed switch and a momentary button that can be used for regen. There is not much to figure out - just connect two wires and that's it. Even polarity is not important.

A few days ago I recieved one of these with the alarm/gps. Seller shipped fast, especially considering I wanted bigger wires, so I am very happy with the transaction so far.

I was pleased to discover that the gps/gsm unit is a tiny little box that can be easily hidden. My plan is to shrinkwrap this unit next to the bms on the battery. I think there is a good chance that a thief would just cut the wires to the buzzer, maybe cut and remove the alarm control unit, and not realize there is also a gps tracker connected. I think only a pro thief that knows this specific alarm or is very knowledgeable about ebike wiring could understand that there is a few too many wires going from battery to alarm unit and understand that there is a gps hidden in battery. If the thief is that good he would get my bike no matter what I did so I am quite happy with this system. The only thing that could provide better protection is a completely separate tracker, but that would require an extra sim card. If I get paranoid I can still just get the extra tracker and hide somewhere. I bet dual trackers would throw off even some real pro thiefs.

Unfortunately I will not be able to play with the controller until I go on summer break in a couple of weeks. I am putting it on a cruiser bike with a mxus3k which will be my first big direct drive build so i am quite eager to get going.

Test drive with three speed switch on 1, do not test drive on third speed and be light on the throttle or you will be on your ass. There is a scary side to this controller.

The android app no has an option to configure between hard and soft start. I'll be adding that option the iOS app shortly as well.

Has two wires labeled as "ignition" you need a two wires key switch.

Any regular on/off switch or key witch that connects those two wires together will work. Two wires are made for convenience (one of them is battery positive), so you you don't have to splice into the Battery pack wires to get to the positive.

Thanks for the help. does the switch need to be high amp rated or would this switch https://goo.gl/X7ZVs3 work?.

Also how much would 2 18fet controllers, one with the gps/tracking system and one without, 2 right hand half twist throttles and 1 programming cable cost all shipped to Victoria, Australia. thanks!

Yep, any switch that is capable of making a connection will work. It doesn't have to be hi amp. The controller circuit that powers MCU is pulling maybe a 100mA or so.
I will send you pricing info in the PM.

It's on the board inside of the controller. BK hole is shorted to the ground by default. This is done for a simple reason that regen can be easily enabled and disabled via the software on a smartphone, so there is no need in a hardware switch if you have to have enable and disable regen regularly. However, if you want a hardware switch for regen, you can leave the regen enabled in the software and then run wires from BK and ground to a switch. On/closed means regen is enabled and off/open means regen is off. I hope this helps.

A few people inquired about issues with Speed 1,2,3 and Flux weakening settings in the smartphone apps. I am glad to report that these are officially fixed.
The latest version of Android app with fixes is available for download here: http://powervelocity.com/index.php?cont ... achment=28
The iOS app will be updated soon as well.

With Flux set to 24 units, I was able to shoot an unloaded 4T hub motor in 17 inch moto rim to 120 mph at 100v or around 1400 RPMs.
Enjoy ;)

50,000 will work for me. It looks like with that controller you can program everything. Do I assume correctly that CA is redundant with this controller?
What is the size of the board of the smallest controller?
I'm thinking about getting one of this and repackage it so it is as small as possible.

If the smallest is the overriding requirement, check out this 6F little guy:
https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewt ... 31&t=89673

You can see the dimensions there.

It also comes with dual sensored/sensorless mode.
Depending on what you use the CA for, it may or may not be redundant.

EBS- is you regular ebrake connection. You would connect to brake lever switches together with the ground.
EBS+ would be used instead if you also wire your brake signal light.
