Spinning all the way through the 60ft is the greatest blessing that can happen to a rail my friend! You have no fender clearance issues preventing bigger tires solving that easily!jmetric wrote: ↑Dec 23, 2017 10:26 amLuke we spun the tires at about 35% overspeed. Calcs prove that out. Sound and my ass dyno back it up. I got off the power and then back on, slipped all the way down the track. We had a 1.9 60ft spinning to about 75ft. Compared to 1.17 60ft. 1.9 feels really slow. We are going to change the gearing to put the gee forces back in line with Panic now that I have a final weight.
The tire diameter increase solves both the gearing and traction in a single step.
