I finally received a reply from Fastace direct.

There is no rebuild manual in english available for this particular fork, so i have requested a manual for the closest product they have. I hope to receive this in the next few days.

Fastace is currently working at the Sur-ron factory trying to resolve fork issues, though im not sure if its the air or spring they are working on.

Sur-ron is now working with DNM and fitting the USD-8S as a fork option along with the RST KILLAH and the spring version of the Fastace ALX13RC.

I personally am not a fan of any DNM products, and will not order any unless customers request them.
My preference is Fastace (with a heavier spring) but I would prefer the RST over DNM , and i have requested if Black is an option. (LMX use a black version of the KILLAH)

The next order is in the process so anyone interested in special spec builds please advise asap. Pre-order cut off will be April 30, shipment ETA late May.

I finally received some info from Fastace.

The forks should be labelled on the lower left leg ALX13RC

The left fork holds 150ml, the right fork holds 300ml. Fork spring rate is 38lbs/in.

I am waiting to hear back regarding oil weight and possibility of purchasing heavier springs.

I personally would run 5wt fork oil, there is a good chance they only use vegetable oil from the factory like DNM.
I intend to send a set of forks to Shock treatment for evaluation, and see if we should continue with the Fastace fork as a standard part.

be interesting to see what they supply even in Chinese okay engineer pdf drawings cad etc,, would be awesome to see, 2 different fork oil volumes I assume 2 different circuits,?? both our bikes the right fork leg feels like spring loaded but left leg feels like a massive shock oil damping??
anyone else noticed this with fast ace front wheel off?
I thought they should be identical leg setup for axle to side leg frame dual loading and hub twist loadings etc..?
Unless pre design one leg hub systems seen a few on mountain bikes but special built to run one leg but still have twist issues, and strength ,
not bading these they do feel solid and rail really nice , handle the big hits wash out ramps etc and look and feel strong enough like breaking won't be the issue, strength looks good
but have noticed lower caps loosen off I assume flex across axial shaft load ?dab of white coolant paste loctite on one thread helps slow this down and not as permenant as thread locker loctite, still putting in back of car!!
need a bag of twist wire she'll be right where's my drill?🙃
info when comes will help many I'm sure.

bet ur a bit busy with these bikes now , congrats, hope u don't mind, had a few people stop and ask so I gave them ur web info too😀😀

I don't know if I can ask it here, but anyone knows what rear suspension is the heavier optional one (450lbs)? I know the one mounted by default is a Fastace BDA53RC, but I was curious to look into the other one as well.

The optional rear is a 450lb spring for the same Fastace shock.
We can offer you the spring as a spare part, or do an exchange on the complete shock absorber from new.

yes yes and yes..

Sur-ron is developing upgrade kits and components such as FOC sinwave controllers , electric power systems for upgrade and diy projects and modular body style kits (in conjunction with Eve bikes france) and components to transform light bee into different bike forms and functions such as trials, mx enduro, street, bobber, cafe racer, etc..

The bikes can be fitted with the optional 58T rear sprocket which gives much more torque and less top speed similar to a trials bike power delivery.
We have a shipment on its way which includes the new sine wave controllers which I’m guessing is the magic ingredient in the new “ X “ version.
We were advised of a 20% power increase throughout the rpm range, with quieter and smoother delivery.
We should expect a higher top speed with the standard 48T sprocket but the torque of the 58T sprocket.
We will update as soon as possible.
