Can these be shipped to Australia?
eBike: Q100H on 16S with Phaserunner FOC Controller
eMotorscooter: Vectrix VX-1 on 36S
eCar: Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV... Waiting for warranty to expire
eHouse: Still on grid, but with LTO batteries and 3kw LF inverter...

After 5 builds, the best advice I can give, is start with high quality products. I prefer http://www.ebikes.ca

I've shipped them USPS.
Sorry, I keep forgetting this is an international site.
I believe that flat rate boxes are limited to 20lb, but two boxes would do 22.
I have 1000 left and access to 10,000 more.
If you wanted a bunch, may be a broker could arrange by sea. Over my pay grade. My brother has had things shipped from China by sea, using a broker.
I'd love to share these. Few love LTO like Steve and myself.

30 pcs are under 20lb
Maybe fewer if I built a wood case inside.

Wow. $118AUD (Less than $100USD) to ship the box of generic goods. $968USD if I declare them to be batteries.

Will look into it further, but to be honest, even at the generic shipping rate, it's only about 20% cheaper than buying new.

I can sell off Ebay for $7.50 each.
I believe I can send 12 for $20 shipping. (USA)
Straps or end terminals are $2 each

Do you have any more information about the cells? I'm not familiar with the cell type, sorry.

So are you selling these as 12 cells for $150 + $50 CONUS shipping?

And what material are the tabs made of?

Thanks!

Full box of 22 for $150
Conus only

12 pcs will fit in a flat rate box for $20
$7.50 X 12 = $90
I have plated copper connecting straps and 100a terminals for $2 each.
Tabs are soft aluminum. I can weld the in custom modules, if I find a way to ship safely. Ie. plastic ammo cans or battery box.
Similar cost to straps.

I've sold a few to members in USA for $120. Box of 12pcs shipped conus, when paid friends and family.
If you would like 22ah, I will weld them in 2p config., $1 /weld.
At this time, not doing series welds, do to shipping issues.
I may see if I can weld copper foil to tabs for easy solder.

Keep in mind 12 series of these cells won't be 48v as the title of the topic states. Use the datasheet to calculate the actual voltage.

I have some of these from an earlier batch and they perform well. The tabs are easy to break off if you bend them more than once.

Thanks,
I use 12s for 24v.
Work with so many chem. That I'm easily confused.
Nominal 2.25v per cell is a good est.

Business for sale. :D
I'm supposed to be retired. This is getting to be a full time job.
I have yet to take delivery of 5,000 nib Old stock LTO on pallets 11ah cells.

I would just as soon get back to some fun projects rather than selling and shipping 24-7.
My partner gets first refusal on any offers.

Anyone come across an affordable bms option for these?

Don’t mean to sidetrack the thread but that info posted here would really up the usefulness of these for the average user. i.e. I’d like to forward this to a couple people but Don’t want to have to find them a bms or take care of thier packs.
Only brutal acceleration will do.

How many cells?
I've tested these balancers. https://www.ebay.com/itm/301611377669
Add heatsink and piggyback an XH connector. (if needed)
Led indicator at 2.7v is nice.

Full bms for LTO are always high cost. Don't know why.
I have an extra one of these 80a 10s for cost if it helps.

Apparently my courier got 2 boxes with, what appears to be, 24 LTO cells. Shipping only took 4 days to Miami. Nice! :D

Invo, what is the best way to punch the tab?
How do you deal with the oxide layer on the tab, before assembly? (Any procedure or product recommendation)

Thank you.

I made my own by drilling a lineman plier. A paper punch works also.

Cleaning with a ss brush might be best. Sanchem anti-ox is supposed to cut through a thin oxide coating.
I've had good luck short term
