How to estimate how many and what type of holders you need for your application??

There are two ways to get the answer:

**One is to estimate the number by following formulas:

NumberOf3xHolders = (2*NumberOfCells)/3
NumberOf2xHolders = 0.1*Numberof3xHolders
NumberOf1xHolders = 0.1*Numberof3xHolders

This should cover safely most layouts.

**The other one is to print out this 1:1 pattern on A4:

and follow the example:



You might need few copies sticked together to cover bigger footprints.

Can you also please confirm that the nickel here is high purity? - i.e. 99%+ purity? (from what I read here, there are a lot of sellers selling nickel with low purity that isn't good, and doesn't pass a salt corrosion test - thanks)

Could you confirm the answer you received about the nickel - not sure why it would need to stay in PM.

My cheap chinese thumb throttle is working correctly, why yours don't? Do I have to set something up in the firmware to make them work?

Thanks for the info. I had a similar issue with the wiring that colors are not standard.

I ordered both, Thumb and Trigger trottle with the note "Rapid, KT, Bolt".
With Higo female extension cable i had to swap black and blue so it has to be wired like this:

+5V = red
GND = blue
signal = black

This is with Higo cable. Note that it might be different when using Julet or other brand connectors which are compatible.

I don't get it why they "invented" different standards. Where power comes out (controller or display side), the connector usually is female to have protection against short, and throttle or brake come with male connector. Also it is quite stupid that Higo can be used with Julet for instance, but the colors are swapped.
