Hi everyone,
Glad to tell that we will have some new exciting model launched soon around late of January.
Do you think what kinds of the new model will be? and what's the feature and advantage will be available compare with present FREY bike models?
We'd like to have some good communication with you and listen to your voices and ideas.
Some teaser video for the FREY bike model will be available soon to release.
You can follow FreyBike on facebook to keep latest news update to you.
Wish all you have a peaceful and happy new year!
Best Regards,
Ivy Wang
Bigger batteries than the AM1000EX seems difficult.
Carbon would be a great option.
Gates carbon belt drive and Rohloff IGH would make it the ultimate e-bike.
Rohloff Speedhub is the best for an e-bike. Gates carbon belt drive is not. Just a little bit of mud will kill it. For durability go with a chain.
You will not see Rohloff on Chinese bike unless you install it yourself.

I think you need to revise your knowledge of the gates Center track CDX carbon drive
Also keep in mind there is an alternative to Rohloff called Kindernay

I hate to admit, but it looks like a new CDX belts can handle mud just fine.
Now, someone needs to build a special and stiff frame for a full suspension mountain bike and convince Chinese to put it all together. Good luck with that?
Kindernay has no track record and cost more so why bother.
Rohloff or Kindernay + belt drive on Chinese bike = 0

Kindernay is a true thru-Axle, has a Hydraulic shifter and is easier to service or swap wheels because of their cage system, so it does have some interests in some situations.
Rohloff or Kindernay plus a Gates Carbon belt is never going to be a cheap proposition, and so far the Chinese manufacturers are focused on that aspect of the equation

12mm thru-axles is a plus.
Bidirectional hydraulic shifter can be more of a problem than solution. The time will tell.
Cage system looks good at first. The devil is in the detail.
In order for a GH to fit into a cage some slop is needed. Some kind of gap that allows it all to slide in.
What will happen if GH is moved out and put back in the cage?
It will never be in the same spot. How close; it all depends on tolerance. This will produce a runout.
Something to think about.

Question about Frey EX with dual battery: do you always leave the external battery on (for simultaneous ageing of the cells?) or can the bike be safely used with the 2nd battery on and off? Where can I find the cover for the external battery mount for when the 2nd battery would be off?

Nice! Looking forward to it.
Carbon frame,
Option for electronic gear shift could be nice. Such as Shimano XT Di2, Sram AXS or Archer D1x,
Another nice option could be the Innotrace Archon X1 controller.

And so is a bike powered by thorium reactor.

Hi Frey
Bigger Battery,
or ( duel battery )
Yari front fork,
Uprated rear shock,
Better group set,
Maxxis off-road tires.
For those that still like to ride mild trails ( no jumps )
But have hip or back issues who can't throw leg over seat,
or are to short to stand over am1000 or EX pro
Thanks
Rob
HAPPY NEW YEAR
谢谢
