hi guys,
i need your help and suggestion for converting Tata nano (small car of india), as used cars are cheap, also available easily.

Little about vehicle (with petrol engine and all)
Weight (total) : 770 kg
rear petrol engine : 624 cc

Tata nano wikipeia page :
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tata_Nano

My plan :
As it is going to hybrid, and rear engine car...planned to place motor in front side (under hood/bonnet)
my question is

1)
BLDB hub motor placing in wheel (or) normla BLDC motor under hood (or) Ac synchronous motor (or) induction motor
so please suggest me a motor, then only i can proceed to next step, i think 12-15 kw motor is enought for this car.

2)
as these petrol car available in 2 variant, manual transmission one or automatic transmission one ?
which one is suitable for hybrid, i have to drive the vehicle in electric in neutral ??

Planned to try BLDC hub motor,
2 x front wheel.

but size is 12 Inch RIM, so i have to buy BLDC hub motor and fit the tyre directly to MOTOR ?

You're not going to find an electric hub motor that fits your car. This is going to require serious fabrication.
Might want to consider adding electric power another way.

If you're okay with a light 1-3kW power boost, you could add a little electric boost by driving the engine via the starter or belt drive..

Otherwise you are looking at even more serious fabrication than that.

QS has "car" sized hub motors:

the lightweight Luka EV uses them: https://hackaday.io/project/5066-luka-ev

2 of these maybe?
