1600w 48v scooter upgrade

Hi, i have a chinese kick bike its identical like the chaos sport 1600w, seems like they go under different names.
i am going to install a kelly controller i have laying around keb 72120 (yes its overkill, but i have it..) and 13s with vw e-up cells. so voltage is around the same. dont need more top speed.

i mounted a volt/watt meter to stock setup max watt was 1450-1590w pulling from the lead accid pack that sagged to 44v from 52,5v

its a brushless motor in stock, what would you say i can feed the engine with ? 2500w ? 3000w ? or are these motor so low quality that in stock they are on the limit at 1600w.

It really depends on heating. You can probably hammer it with over 3kW for a short burst. My A2B motor is rated for 750W, but I can run over 2500W as long as I have enough air flow to cool it.

Installing a temperature sensor in the motor is a good idea if you want to push it hard.
