Weak hub motor at start up

I have dual 10" 1000w hub motors running on 52v 28ah battery with dual 1000w controllers, basic componants ,nothing to fancy but they get me around ...so one day i was at full throttle going down the street and when i got home i noticed a weird noise...and lose of power..at first i thought the controllers but then swapped them out for the previous one i had (1000w controller) and still the same problem...battery and BMS are fine , wich brings me to the title of this forum....if my motors got Hot to the point of almost burning out BUT did not, do they become weak and make wierd noises ???they struggqle at start up , but if im easy at start up to build up speed ,then once moving its not to bad not as fast as before but moves along...its more like lose of power ( bottom end) top end is not as bad.,.. let me know your thoughts guys...thanks in advance...🙂

Three things immediately spring to mind.
1, fried your halls
2, demagnetised your magnets
3, you have a short somewhere

Or any combo of above.

Halls are good i tested them...
I looked around for shorts dont seem to find any ....
---how do magnets get demagnatized??? I keep leaning to my windings on the verge of smoking....even though i used a tester to test hall sensors ,phase wires etc...
