Razor E300 24V motor or 36V motor on 10S ? Amps?

Hey guys, I haven't posted on here in years since my E-bike project. I have a Razor E300 and a E200 I am going to mod. They are pretty gutless up hills stock, 250W motor and 24V. I ordered a 36V razor controller and matching throttle for both of them. I will be using custom built 2, 5S4P packs in series(10S), (LG 10A cont per cell, 18650).

So I am going to buy a 24V (rated 26.7A) or the 36V (rated 17.8A) MY1020. But I have not decided yet.

Right now the scooter does 15mph with 24V and a ratio of 11T motor sprocket and a 55T wheel gear.

So using 36V and the 36V 500W motor and the same gear ratio the, scooter should go about 15mpg still, the RPM rating is the same.
Using a 15T motor sprocket should get me to 18mph which is all I want right now.

Using the 24V version motor will do 21mph with the 11T/55T ratio on 36V. So I would need to use a 11T/65T ratio to get the top speed down to 18mph.

The 36V razor controller is rated at 30A max. I'm sure it only has 1 or 2 mosfets in it, because the stock 24V 30A controller only has 1. haha. Super weak huh?!

My Question is, How is the amp draw going to be for the 36V vs the 24V motor? I don't want to burn anything up. I'm assuming the controller will only put out so much current, so maybe the Ratings on the motors don't matter? I ordered a in line Amp meter to do some testing on the stock 250W motor to see the amp draw for 24V vs 36V.
 
The 36v motor i run on 12s cant remember the amps but i got to the bottom of my street and it let a massive smoke out and chargrilled itself, it was geared lightly too but just to much for the little chap theres no airflow to the core in them and theres no heat path so they cook fast.

The zy1020 36v 1000w motor pulled me up all the hills going, it got hot but they are robust i heat cycled that motor 100s of times and it took it like a champ.

The magnets in them are ferrite based and are not so temperature sensitive as neodymium, the core doesnt have a great heat path but it kept on working great and bonus was if i stoped in winter i could warm my hands on the motor.
