Looks very much like the Badsey EMX scooter I owned many years ago.

sounds like allcell pack, " pcm technology " , 120 amp controller,... kinda cool. but for that kinda money .. hmm.. it does look a lot like the Badsey..

EDIT: Whups - $2,750, but "remaining balance of $3,170 due on shipping." so the price is the same $5,920 for the December shipment. I misunderstood, its sorta misleading. I wonder how potential customers feel about that.

Oddly, the higher $4,970/$5,920 prices on the two models are for the early adopters with September delivery, and the cheaper model is already sold out... But if you can wait for December Delivery, they are only $2,500/$2,750. Of course, there may be no December delivery if both September offerings don't sell out. Either way they nail you an extra $350 for the seat.

Choose "shop" from the OP link, or use this link to see prices.

I see a lot of creative use of shapes and materials, like the nacelles with headlights in front and a covered charge port in back... If I hadn't already explored this space, I'd spring for one -at the December pricing and then mill my own seat. :D

The Rover above vs the Badsey EMX below.

Badsey Promo - dude stands way back on it - hard to keep the front down like that - but I like when he pivots around the back tire.

Funny, until I saw the Rover, I had totally forgotten about the Badsey and that one had haunted my garage for a few years.

- Nice specs
- 5.000$ ... too expensive
- Very ugly
- Those last 10 secs in the vid: such arrogance

What a rugged look, this Rover e-scooter has. Nice that it folds also.

Just picked one up. Oldest Rover model just like the pictured unit in this thread.

First ride tomorrow in the rain, should be fun.

Got a ton of stares and then crap while waiting for an elevator. I thought waiting for an empty elevator would be enough. But people made comments instead of going and getting onto the waiting available lift. I had to point out they were going to miss the elevator while standing there judging.

Rode it this weekend to the post office up a huge hill. Wow what a champ. This thing is amazing.

Riding around this weekend, I would highly recommend the Rover. Been riding a "tricked out" GoPed ESR for over two years and the W.E. Rover such an excellent and different experience.
