Snow Longboard

Not related to an electric skateboard but pretty neat if nobody has seen it before.

I would rather be on a snowboard, video only confirmed that. I have put ice blades on a mountainboard and a windsurf sail. On smooth ice, it was a lot of fun.

Interesting. I like the idea and would certainly give it a go. Would like to see how clever people could get with it on the freestyle front.

motorize it.

I agree. Having motors on a normal snowboard would be extremely useful. Perhaps have the wheel be retractable so it doesn't get in the way for regular downhill snowboarding. I think it'd be a challenging project because all of this would have to be waterproof and retractable and lightweight.

Depending on the resort, there are almost always times where some traversing is necessary, and most snowboarders will agree with me that this is the most annoying thing ever - unstrapping and strapping back in on the flats.

I had a snowskate like 10 years ago. think it was made by Mervin MFG. Definitely wasn't as nimble as this one looks. But it was fun to goof around on.
